When a player begins tocreate their own characterinNBA 2K25, they are asked to give that character specific ratings in certain attributes like Free Throws,Three Point Shots, and Driving Layups using a finite number of points. This is to help them create the exact kind of player they want. It also helps keep the game balanced so that players can’t create an all-powerful character who is a master of everything. However, the character creation goes even further than just assigning a number to each category. It alsogives players the chance to use badges to improve their character even more.
Badges can be assigned to different players and will give themcertain bonuses for their stats. Some Badges canimprove a character’s shootingor make them a much better defender. Each one requires certain attribute thresholds to be met; however, knowing what these thresholds are is important when choosing the right badges for the character.
