With their backs against the wall, the students are forced to fight real villains, but their inexperience and apprehension make survival seem unlikely. “All Might” is a nerve-wracking and action-packed episode that focuses on the eponymous character’s heroic efforts to save and inspire a new generation of potential heroes.

When Deku learns that his childhood frenemy is in danger, his body moves before he can even think, and he desperately tries to fight off the Sludge Villain without a quirk. Before things could go wrong, All Might intervenes and takes down the villain. Midoriya’s selfless heroism cements All Might’s faith in the young boy, and he feels that he has finally found his successor. “What It Takes to Be a Hero” explores the idea of heroism and lays the groundwork for Deku’s rise in the hero world with his idol’s guidance.

Now, as he stands in front of his greatest rival at the end of his career, he wishes to inspire the present generation to adopt similar ideals.
