Summary
Starfieldfans are almost spoiled for choicewhen it comes to finding new mods, as with the release of the Creation Kit, many modders are flexing their modding muscles by creating all sorts of new content from the game, from backend mods such as Starfield Script Extender (available from NexusMods) to entirely new in-game content.
Although a polarizing decision among the fanbase, Bethesda has continued with its own curated - and paid - storefront for mods inStarfield.Proposed as a way to improve quality control and pay mod authors for their work, the Creation Store includes so-called ‘verified’ creators. First featured in later editions ofSkyrimand carried through toFallout 4,the Creations Store serves as a storefront for mods, both paid and free, which can be accessed from within the game itself. There are many available, but these are some of themost popular Creations inStarfield’s Creations Store.
10Ancient Mariner Module
Created by: Bethesda Game Studios
The Ancient Mariner Module is a paid Creation from Bethesda Game Studios itself, coming with a fairly hefty price tag of 1,000 Credits. That said, this spaceship habitat is gorgeous to look at.
Themed around ancient wooden ships, the Ancient Mariner Module brings a touch of sea salt toStarfield’s Blackest Sea. Available from any Ship Service Technician, the Ancient Mariner Module has a very specific look, and it’s easy to see why it’s one of themost popular Creationsdespite its hefty price tag.
9Beowulf Healthy Parts
Created by: InvokerGray
This simple creation does exactly what it purports to do with its name: It grants the Beowulf weapon’s individual parts a +20 buff to player Health. Some Creations are explicitly lore-friendly and balance, but this mod doesn’t even claim to be - it’s listed in the store as a cheat item.
It’s easy to see why it’s popular, as manyStarfieldplayers can often find themselvesrunning out of Health at inopportune times. With this Creation, however, the chance of this happening is decreased significantly.
8Blackout Drumbeat Skin
Thisfree Creation from Bethesda Game Studiosadds brand-new skins to the Drumbeat weapon. Although featured as a category in the in-game weapon modding system, very few weapons or other gear actually have any skins for players to use.
This Creation from Bethesda changes that by adding a sleek new skin for the Drumbeat, available to use at any Weapon Workbench. It’s essentially just a cosmetic enhancement, but it’s still a fun addition to one’sStarfieldexperience.
7Blackout Equinox Skin
Available for free in the Creation Store, the Blackout Equinox Skin updates the base game Equinox weapon to include a brand-new, very sleek skin for use at any Weapon Workbench.
This new skin is fully achievement-friendly and free to use, so it’s worth checking out for any player who thinks that the extremely limited selection of weapon skins inStarfieldisn’t up to scratch.
6CombaTech Digital Camo Skin Pack
This paid Creation, direct from Bethesda Game Studios, contains all-new skins for seven different CombaTech weapons. These skins are incredibly nice additions, offering a fresh new look to some commonly used weapons.
However, players should note that it comes with a 300 Creation Credit price tag. Still, it is achievement friendly, and the designs of the skins themselves are undeniably eye-catching and certain to impress.
5Deluxe Dynamic Boostpacks
Created by: shadedness
Deluxe Dynamic Boostpacks is a paid Creation by Creator shadedness that overhauls and enhances boostpacks in game. This Creation hooks into the in-game research and modding system, enhancing boostpack functionality based on what has been researched.
The Deluxe Dynamic Boostpacks Creation is a must-have for any dedicated boostpackers whose favorite thing is jetpacking around the Settled Systems in style. Costing 100 Creation Credits, it’s also quite affordable.
4Elitek Aerospace - Crimson Fleet Ship Habs
Created by: TheRealElianora
Created by veteranSkyrimandFallout4modder TheRealElianora, the Crimson Fleet Ship Habs Creation is a masterclass in style. These are lore-friendly additions to the ship system that provide players with multiple different habs decorated andthemed around the Crimson Fleet faction.
Coming in at 500 Credits, these habs aren’t overly cheap, but they fit easily into the game and look the part. This Creation is easily worth it forStarfield players looking to really get into the Crimson Fleet groove.
3Franky’s Emporium
Created by: PrincessMely
Franky’s Emporium adds a brand-new merchant to Neon, wedged in between the Trade Authority and Sieghart’s Outfitters. Selling all the usual things (and buying them, too), Franky’s Emporium also includes unique gear, such as a new legendary boostpack and a prototype laser pistol that also functions like a laser cutter.
This Creation is good news forStarfieldplayers looking for more places tosell their unwanted goods, as well as anyone interested in the unique items that the Creator has made available.
2Kingpin Trucker At Sol Outposts
This brand-new quest answers the prayers of allStarfieldplayers who just really wanted to be a space trucker. This paid Creation contains a 27 part quest with 45 different civilian outposts across all the planets and moons of the Sol system. That’s a whole lot of trucking.
InvokerGray has also added an Outpost Guide Book, so players will know exactly where to go. But this doesn’t just include trucking; it also features trucker fights and outpost defense, so it’s easy to see why it is one of themost popular Creations in theStarfieldCreations Store.
1Neon Ramen
This paid creation is quite simple in design and execution. It’sa new ramen shop on Neon. This food stall sells a variety of different ramen noodle dishes and adds to the ambience of its location in Neon.
That’s essentially all it does. Though it offers a nice place to pick up some food, especially withStarfield’s new hunger and thirst system, the price of 400 Creation Credits is quite high for what’s available. Still, manyStarfieldfans seem to like it anyway.
