There are seven Klues forMortal Kombat 1players to solve in Season 8 of Invasions mode, the second of which can be found in the Fengjian Village Mesa. The IEC GEA Klue is tied to the Flying High Node near the Mesa’s entrance portal, and, like all of theother Season 8 Klues, can be solved by performing a specific Animality.
In order to figure out which Animality they need to use,Mortal Kombat 1players will first need to unscramble the Klue to reveal that IEC GEA is an anagram of ICE AGE. The mention of ice alone should already be enough to point players in the right direction, even if they aren’t yet familiar with all of theMK1Animalities.
How to Solve the IEC GEA Klue in Mortal Kombat 1
To complete the IEC GEA Klue, players will need toperform Sub-Zero’s Mammoth Mash Animality, which they can do by pressing Down, Forward, Down, Forward while standing at medium range. If done correctly.Sub-Zero will transform into a wooly mammothand tear the other fighter in half using its tusks and trunk. Players will then be returned to the overworld screen, where the debris that had previously been blocking their path to the Klue chest will be destroyed.
IEC GEA Klue Rewards
Players who complete the IEC GEA Klue will receiveSub-Zero’s Frigid Madness Skin, theBlood Brawler Rare Talisman, and100 Seasonal Kredits. For those wondering, Blood Brawler provides a healing effect when triggered, while theSeasonal Kredits can be used to purchase time-limited cosmetics from the Seasonal Store. As of the Khaos Reigns update, players will also be able to use Seasonal Kredits to purchase new Brutalities for every playable kombatant, although unlike the cosmetics and the currency itself, these Brutalities aren’t time-limited and so can still be unlocked after the current season of Invasions has come to an end.
