Health Regen andWeapon Damageare two opposite stats inDeadlock, but they both matter equally depending on your playstyle. Having a high Health Regen will help you recover from low HP much faster than your opponent, which results in coming back to the battlefield and pushing the lane forward while the opponent still has to hide to gain more HP or even has to return to the base for a full recovery.
Aside from providing a significant amount of Health Regen, this build also comes with 81% Weapon Damage, 122 Spirit Power, +4 Sprint Speed, +400 Spirit Shield, and +1,402 base HP.
All around, this is a solid build for crowd controllers and catching the opposing heroes off-guard, but it might not help DPS-focused heroes like Wraith, Haze, or Seven that much. However, you may still targetShadow WeaveandBoundless Spiritin any build, which will grant+30 Health Regen, and that is a huge leap! Extra Regen is also a low-cost item that can be acquired early in the game, delivering +2.8 units of Health Regen.
Heroes that cannot move around so quickly, likeLady GeistorWarden, can benefit from maximizing Health Regen, especially knowing that they both have throwable grenades that can deal significant damage to a pack of players, making them quite useful in crowd control.
