Players are justgetting their hands onFunko Fusionon the PC and current-gen consoles, with the Nintendo Switch and PS4 version set to release later in 2024. The game draws upon the tremendous number of licenses and partnerships the Funko collectible brand has had over the years, creating a game with a huge list of characters to interact with and play as.
ThoughFunko Fusioncan be played without using the physical collectibles, owning the physical items can be part of the fun. New York Comic-Con attendees will have an opportunity to purchase a POP!Funko FusionSkeletor that’s limited to 1,000 pieces, making it arare Funko. The event runs from October 17 to October 20, but interested buyers will want to try and get it as early as possible. The unique take on Skeletor has been Eddi-fied, referring to what happens to Funko characters when Eddy Funko warps them with his abilities. As such, this Skeletor has pink, hypnotic and electrified-looking eyes, with a paler white skull than usual, and his weapons are primarily pink.
POP! Funko Fusion Skeletor (Eddi-fied) Details
The POP!Funko FusionSkeletor will premiere at New York Comic-Con, and will retail for $14.99. Initial images and specs of the figure have revealed that the figure will be 3.95 inches tall, about the size of an average Funko POP. Prospective buyers should note that the collectible can’t be purchased with any discounts or promotions, and while the box will have a special collectible sticker, the variety isn’t guaranteed. The sticker will either be a New York Comic-Con 2024 or Fall Convention 2024 sticker. The collectible will also have a redeemable code inside the box that can beused in theFunko Fusiongame to unlock an item, though the box doesn’t specify what it is.
The limited nature of this particular Funko figure means that not everyone will be able to get their hands on one. For those who are interested in owning a Funko figure of Skeletor in general, there have been other variations that have been released which may fill that need. These include very similar standing Funko, Skeletor riding Panthor, and Skeletor on his throne. As one might expect with Funko’s numerous partnerships over the year, there’s plenty of variety available for the iconicMasters of the Universecharacter, even if fans can’t make it toComic-Con.

Everybody has something that brings back the joy of their childhood, and for me hearing the soundtrack and seeing the characters takes me back to being 8 years old on a Saturday morning in 1983 watching Masters of the Universe on the TV. Masters of the Universe is a bright colourful joyful adventure, packed with incredibly fun characters like Trap Jaw, Beast Man, and Orko. It’s the ultimate cartoon that triggers amazing memories of playing with the toys, and living out your own episodes, and remembering how seriously I took the moral of the story at the end of each episode.
