Gunn is taking his version and hopefully improved version of the DCU in the same direction as the Marvel Cinematic Universe so that characters like the Green Lanterns will cross over into filmssuch asSuperman: Legacy. How exactly the newest movie planned around the Man of Steel andLanternswill blend together is still a mystery, but this latest report means there are at least two characters now cast from this series that could eventually join the Justice League.

Despite that series’ run being over since 2011, the family drama with football action mixed in has long been a cult favorite thanks in no small part to its very popular tagline, which is the motto Coach Taylor uses with his players; “clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.”
