Summary

The initial lineup of theIntelCore Ultra 200 Arrow Lake CPUs was briefly listed by Canadian tech retailer Shoprbc, roughly one month before the planned launch date. These newIntelCPUs will offer notable performance gains over previous 13th and 14th gen desktop CPUs, if leaks turn out to be true.

Intel’s new Arrow Lake CPUshave generated a lot of discussions throughout the year, thanks to various leaks and rumors from tech insiders. Similarly to Lunar Lake, the Arrow Lake desktop CPUs will reportedly feature “double-digit” instructions per clock improvements over previous generation Crestmont cores, thanks to the new Lion Cove performance cores and Skymont efficiency cores. These new cores also give Arrow Lake a bigger uplift in multithreaded performance compared to previous generation CPUs. Rumors suggest consumers may finally get their hands on the new Intel Core Ultra 200 CPUs starting October 24, which is one week after the previously rumored October 17 launch date.

As spotted byWccftech, Shoprbc listed five Intel Core Ultra 200 CPUs before their retail launch in Canada, including what appears to be one of thepreviously leaked Intel Core Ultra xx5K CPUs. These new Intel Core Ultra CPUs include the Ultra 5 245 KF for $427 CAD ($314 US), Ultra 5 245K for $450 CAD ($331 US), Ultra 7 265KF for $567 CAD ($417 US), Ultra 7 265K for $589 CAD ($433 US), and Ultra 9 285K for $852 CAD ($627 US). All five CPUs belong to Intel’s first batch of Arrow Lake chips planned for release on October 24. Shoprbc took down the listings shortly after they were made public, so customers can no longer wishlist or favorite any of the processors they plan on purchasing next month.

It’s worth noting that Intel has not officially confirmed the exact launch lineup or release date for its new Arrow Lake CPUs yet, so the lineup could look different from what Shoprbc listed on its website. According to Wccftech, the Intel Core Ultra 200 serieswill receive a full reveal on October 10, with Intel expected to confirm the October 24 release date and the CPUs that consumers may purchase on launch day.

While the company prepares for its Arrow Lake CPU launch,Intel is working on remedying problems with Raptor Lake CPUs. These issues became prevalent in February 2024, with many users reporting instability issues with their 14th gen Intel CPUs. Extensive investigations were conducted by Intel, determining that underclocking/overclocking settings and microcode were affecting CPU performance and system stability.

Intel Core i9 14900K 24-Core, 32-Thread CPU

The Intel Core i9 14900K 24-Core, 32-Thread CPU is Intel’s highest-end 14th generation CPU and offers the highest boost clocks for a consumer-grade CPU from Intel to date, clocking in at an impressive 6 GHz natively. It succeeds the limited-release Intel Core 13900KS as the first mainstream 6 GHz CPU, even as it brings a large power draw and thermal requirement to reach said clock speed.
