Astro Botis more than just another platformer, with the game also serving as a heartfelt love letter to the PlayStation platform and the wider video game industry in general. It famously features over 150VIP Bots inspired by iconic video game characters, but there are also special outfits that players can have Astro change into.

This guide has been updated to include instructions on how to unlock them, as well as images showing what each of the DLC outfits looks like.
How to Change Outfits in Astro Bot
Players will be able to start changing Astro’s outfit after theyunlock the Changing Room, which they’ll do after they’ve managed tocollect 48 Puzzle Pieces. They’ll then just need to visit the Changing Room at the Crash Site andpress the Square button to have Astro punch the outfit that they want him to change into.
How to Unlock Every Outfit in Astro Bot
There are twenty outfits in the base version ofAstro Bot, fifteen of which are available as Gatcha Lab prizes. Players who pre-ordered the game will get the Lovestruck Lyricist outfit, while those who purchasethe Digital Deluxe edition ofAstro Botwill receive the Golden and Yharnum Hunter outfits. The last unlockable outfit inAstro Botis Astro’s Throwback outfit, which players will get as a reward for completing the Great Master Challenge.

All DLC Outfits in Astro Bot
The Winter Wonder DLC stageintroduces four newAstro Botoutfits, each of which can be found inside one of the fourteen golden Christmas presents that are hidden throughout the stage. Players will need to find them to fully complete the stage, but those having trouble can click on the links below to find detailed instructions on where each one is hiding.
All Astro Bot Outfits Based on Video Game Characters
Of the 24Astro Botoutfits available, 13 are based on characters from other video games. It’s worth noting that all of these characters also feature as VIP Bots, although players won’t need to have rescued them to be able to unlock them.
