There are 44 Trophies inAstro Bot, two of which require players to take pictures of certain things. To do so, they’ll need to use Photo Mode, though, unfortunately, Photo Mode isn’t available right away. In fact, players won’t actually be able to take photos for a fairly significant portion of their playthrough.

This is because players will need to unlock Photo Mode inAstro Bot. Thankfully, although certainly time-consuming, the method for doing so is actually relatively straightforward once players know what’s expected of them, as too is using Photo Mode to unlock the two aforementioned Trophies.

How to Unlock Photo Mode in Astro Bot

In order to unlockAstro Bot’sPhoto Mode, players will simply need tobuild and then visit the Safari Park at the Crash Site, thengrab the camera near the entrance. Unlocking the Safari Park will require64 Puzzle Pieces, which is more than half of the 120 total that are available throughout the game. The earliest that players can unlock Photo Mode is after reachingthe Camo Cosmos galaxy.

How to Use Photo Mode in Astro Bot

After unlocking Photo Mode, players will be able to use it by pressing Up on the D-Pad. It’s fairly basic when compared to some of thefantastic Photo Modes found in other modern video games, but is still more than capable of doing the job. Players canraise and lower the camera using the left shoulder buttonsandtake photos by pressing R2.

Which Astro Bot Trophies Require Photo Mode?

As mentioned above, there are twoAstro BotTrophiesthat require players to use Photo Mode: Strike A Pose! and Thick As Thieves. For the former, they’ll need to take a picture at one of the game’s many photo spots, while the latter can be unlocked by snapping a photo of Nathan Drake (rescued in the Lady Venomara stage) and Lara Croft (rescued in the Heiroglitch Pyramid stage). Photo spots can be found in variousAstro Botstages, or in the Safari Park.
