The Plucky Squireis a truly delightful narrative story, accompanied by some very charming gameplay. Players will find the primary style of gameplay reminiscent of the earlierLegend of Zeldagames — from the various sword attacks to the holding items above one’s head with a whimsical melody.
The game also has plenty of puzzles, with a large number involvingrearranging words to augment the world around you. Couple this word arrangement with interacting with objects, and players will find themselves moving back and forth trying to find a solution to the problem at hand.
How To Solve Two Large Metal Crates In The Plucky Squire
As players make their way throughchapter 9, they will come across a room with the following text: “Two large metal crates had been stored here” — along with some enemies to dispatch. Once the enemies have been dealt with, players will want to go to the far right side of the room. Here they will find Minibeard. Getting help from Minibeard canhelp new players who are still learning the game, but this is not one of those times. He will hint at breaking the crates, but this will not help you in knowing where to go to accomplish this goal. Head up the stairs and then stand on the nearby yellow crate.
When the player stands on this yellow crate and moves up, a new path on the map will be revealed. Follow this path and deal with the enemies to lower the monster wall and reveal a new body of text. Hit the button on the wall to lower the yellow door, and then hit the “three” from the text that appeared. Pick up “three” and swap it with the “two” from the text on the floor. This will cause there to be three crates now. Make your way back up the stairs and through the yellow door. There will be two enemies standing watch over a diamondbust of Humgrump.
Defeat them, then take the “diamond” text under this statute and swap it out for the “Metal” to turn the metal crates into diamond crates. Use the green portal by the yellow door to exit the book, and then use the Stop Stamp on the crate on the top left. Now tilt the left side of the book, so the other two crates slide all the way to the right. Then tilt the right side so they slide all the way to the left. you may now walk back to where you took the “three” and use the two diamond crates on the left side as a bridge to reach the final body of text.
Hit and take the “broken” from it, and swap it out with “diamond.” This will break the three crates and cause them to have holes on the top. Exit the book once again and use your Bomb Stamp to destroy the crates to find a key hidden in one of them. You can use this key on the blue door to the left to make your way to the next area.
Players who are achievement/trophy huntingcan also use “broken” under the bust of Humgrump to crack it up. Then hit it with their sword to get their hands on a piece of art and an achievement/trophy.
