WhileStar Wars Outlaws’protagonist lacks the abilities synonymous withStar Wars’iconic Jedi Knights, she is still a very resourceful and dangerous individual. She is more alikened to crowd favorite Han Solo, as she’s an excellent thief and smuggler, and mighty lethal with a blaster in hand.

While Kay can do some serious damage with her Blaster, it could, of course, always be more effective in dispatching adversaries and bounty hunters. If players are looking for Kay’s weapon to pack more punch than it already does, then they would benefit fromacquiring Kay’s blaster damage upgrade. How To Increase Kay’s Blaster Damage In Star Wars Outlaws

Kay has a wealth of upgrades at her disposal for her weapons and gadgets, both viathe various experts she encounterson her travels, and through her own skills at a workbench. One particularly useful upgrade for theStar Wars Outlawsprotagonist is the damage upgrade for her Blaster. If players want to inflict more pain with Kay’s primary weapon, they will require the following:

While the Fastshot Trigger is a particularly challenging resource for players to get their hands on, the other two required materials are more easily accessible. Slivian Iron is one of the more common lootable items across the galaxy, so Kay should have no trouble finding it on her journey, whether by grabbing it herself orsending Nix to fetch it for her. If not out in the open, players will also be able to purchase the material from most general vendors and merchants throughout the game.

The MG-2 Power Exceeder is a little rarer than Slivian Iron, but it can be found across the galaxy. However, this will most likely be encounteredin syndicate camps and bases. Otherwise, a select few traders and vendors will also stock it, such asthe traveling merchant Shuma. As for the BT-009S Fastshot Trigger, players will need to go to a particular location in Toshara to find it.

How To Find The BT-009S Fastshot Trigger

A key component to Kay’s Blaster damage upgrade is the BT-009S Fastshot Trigger, which can be found at Typhon’s Rock, in Lost Steppe,on the planet Toshara. This area is south-east of the Jaunta’s Hope fast-travel point, or south-west if you are coming from the planet’s main city. It is a tricky location to get access to, but the best approach is from the south, as shown in the video above.

You will needthe Power Module for Kay’s blasterbefore you can acquire this item, which you will receive after completing the Safecracker main mission.

From the south of Typhon’s Rock, Kay will need to reach the tunnel that is blocked by blasts of wind. This can be done by climbing the numerous rock walls, then following the path to the left until you find the cave. While this seems inaccessible at first, as players will generally usethe speed boost upgrade on Kay’s Speederto overcome wind, the blasts are not constant.

From the entrance to the cave, wait until the wind dies down, then run to the left and take refuge in front of the rock wall, so you don’t get blown away. After the wind subsides again, quickly run to the ledge straight ahead and climb down. From there, you’ll need to use the Power Module to break through the rock and work your way into the cave.

Once you pass through the hole in the wall, go right, down the two short drops, and through the tunnel on the right. As you continue along the path, you’ll encounter a hole in the ground from which Kay can use the grappling hook to rappel down. Once down, you’ll find yourself in an open cave. Turn right, climb the ledges, blast through the rock with the Power Module, then climb through the hatch.

As Kay emerges from the hatch, she will need to grapple across the gap ahead and onto the next rock platform, and then again at the next one. There is a dead end here, but the wall on the right can be climbed. Be mindful of the wind blasts coming from the back, and ensure you jump from one wall to the other in order to progress. The next part is at the top of the wall on the left of the screen, which involves a pathblocked by a wind tunnel. Simply time your run here, as you need only cross the gap.

Once you pass the wind challenges, Kay will need to climb the wall on the right as the path ends and continue along the dark tunnel until she loses her footing and slides down the rock. Be mindful of this, as you’ll need to jump at the end of the slide. Kay can then use the grapple hook, butdon’t jumpon this occasion. Instead, extend the line and lower yourself to the ground.

To proceed further, Kay will need to use the elevator on the left of the clearing as you come in. To do this, stand at the elevator, use the Power Module to break the three rocks blocking your path, then instruct Nix to open the hatch. Once opened, use the Ion blaster function to power up the elevator and be raised to the next level.

At the top of the elevator, take a look around, as there are quite a few items and lootables to grab, including theAncient Hunter Carving Major Charm. Once you’ve looted the area, follow the path, jump the gap. The BT-009S Fastshot Trigger can be found in the container on the left just as you climb the ledge.
