The v31.20 update forLEGO Fortniteintroduced gamers to the Lost Isles, an additional island that players canaccess via a Bus Station. This wondrous landscape offers a variety of different biomes to explore, like Floating Islands and the Jungle. On top of that, players can also get their hands on a variety of different weapons.
Though some of these weapons arewielded by hostile Pirates in Pirate Towns, the arrival of the Peely Tribe also allows players to acquire Throwing Spears. These nifty ranged weapons are great for dealing with pesky Storm-Wild Tomatoes from a distance and are fairly simple to craft.
Where to Find the Peely Tribe in LEGO Fortnite
The Peely Tribe are friendly NPC characters that populateLEGO Fortnite’s Lost Isles and are commonly found within the Plains biome. They often reside in their NaNa huts and wield Shields along with their own Throwing Spear, a heavy-hitting ranged weapon. Peely Tribe inhabitants will drop their Throwing Spears upon being eliminated, but since they are friendly, players will be unable to attack them. Along with the Peely Tribe, players can also find the NaNa Village, though it functions more like a standard village than a simple landmark.
ThoughFortnite’sblog post for the updatespecifies that players can find many Throwing Spears from the Peely Tribe, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Instead, players will need to craft the item or find it in Chests to use it. We will update this guide if this changes in a future patch.
How to Get a Throwing Spear
The most surefire way to get a hold of a Throwing Spear is to simply craft it via a Crafting Bench. There are four rarities of the Throwing Spear currently, each one providing better damage and durability than the last.
How to Use a Throwing Spear
The Throwing Spear is primarily a ranged weapon, one that can pack a serious punch to enemy creatures. To use it, players canhold the Fire button (Left Click/RT/R2) to charge up a throw, thenrelease it to send the spear flying.
The item will leave the player’s inventory once thrown, so players will need to retrieve it to use it again. On top of this, each throw will also consume durability. Alternatively, players can simply perform a standard melee attack by just pressing the Fire button.
