InStar Wars Outlaws, you don’t play asan honorable Jedi, or a courageous Skywalker, or even amember of the Rebellion. Instead, you step into the shoes of Kay Vess, an ordinary thief who suddenly finds herself in way over her head. To survive in this dangerous world, she’ll need help from various characters she encounters along her journey.
These characters will provide Kay with new abilities, ranging from stealth enhancements to gear upgrades. One such NPC is Selo Rovak, a skilled mechanic who plays a crucial role in improving Kay’s speeder. Missing out on Selo’s assistance could mean missing out on essential upgrades that are vital for your progress in the game.
Reaching Selo’s Shop in Star Wars Outlaws
Selo Rovak isone of the many NPCsyou’ll meet inStar Wars Outlaws.However, she stands out due to the unique location of her residence. When players are tasked with finding her during the Speeder Mechanic questline, they’ll need to locate her shop, which is perched atop a small mountain. The journey can be tricky, and it’s easy to get lost along the way.
Before setting out to find Selo’s Shop, you must first reach the Windfishing Settlement in Kadua, where you’ll encounter her Selo’s People. They’ll provide you with crucial information about the shop’s location, guiding you on your quest to track down this elusive mechanic. Don’t worry about getting lost here as Selo’s People’s location is marked on the map and can be found easily.
Once you reach the encampment of Selo’s People, head back to your speeder and set off in a westerly direction, following the shallow river for a short distance. Keep an eye out for anoff-road path to your left that goes up the hill— this is your signal to leave the river behind and take the newly discovered route.
Along the way, you might hear the sounds of a distant gunfight, but it’s best to stay focused on your mission for now; you can always check out the commotion later. As you follow the road, be cautious of the many twists and turns, as you wouldn’t want to lose control and tumble all the way down below.
Eventually, you’ll reach the top of the hill, where you’ll spot a vehicle repurposed into a makeshift tent. This is where Selo Rovak, the skilled mechanic, resides. After talking to her, she’ll assign you the Mechanic questline, which involves breaking into a wind facility to steal the Atmospheric Accelerator needed for your speeder upgrades.
