How To Customize Crosshair
Thanks to a creativeDeadlockfan, all players can now freely modify their crosshair using an online third-party tool and apply it in-game simply by copying and pasting a line of code. So, all you need to do is to pay a visit to thiswebsite, where you may either choose one of the pre-built crosshairs or modify them until it satisfies you. Of course, this tool is not as powerful asCrosshair X, but it can still give you more than a few options to try out in-game, by allowing the user to change the width, height, and opacity of the lines and the center dot as well as their thickness.
Once you are done editing the crosshair, click on the “Copy Config” button. Now, runDeadlockand when you are in-game,press F7to open the console. Here, you need to paste the configuration and then press Enter to apply the changes. If you want to revert the change, just go back to the crosshair generator website and copy the configuration for the default crosshair, then apply it in-game.
Improving Aiming Skills
At the moment, none of theDeadlockweapons have recoil, which makes it far easier to control the spray and target the opponent heroes. So, all the players need to work on is crosshair placement. It is crucial to keep your crosshair always at a head level, but knowing that movement inDeadlockis quite fast and unpredictable, it will take some time to improve your aiming skills.
After finding a good crosshair to hunt heads easily, it is beneficial to figure out a comfortable mouse sensitivity as well. Spinning around is something that happens quite a lot inDeadlock, especially when you arefacing more than one opponent. So, it is important to look around quickly and switch targets.
The hero in use is also a factor to consider. So, if you go ahead with heroes like Wraith orMcGinnis, there are enough bullets in the magazine to just spray and pray! However, when playing as heroes with a smaller magazine size such as Abrams or Pocket, even missing a single shot could put you under pressure on the battlefield, as you will need more reloading breaks.
