Mods play a big part inOnce Human’sbuildcrafting, and naturally, this means players will find themselves grinding for all the right mods for their build more often than not. Thankfully, the game has a mod conversion system that takes some of the frustration away, letting players get some of the most important parts of their builds easily and conveniently.
Converting mods is an easy process, though there are some important things about it that players should know. If you’re looking for a specific mod with specific substats for something like aOnce HumanShrapnel build, then converting existing mods might be the way to go.
How Does Mod Conversion Work In Once Human?
The Mod Conversion feature, which players can access via the Mods screen, is used toobtain specific weapon mods by sacrificing other weapon mods of the same rarity. For example, if you want to get a gold Shrapnel Souvenir, you can use Mod Conversion to turn six other gold mods into the mod you want. However, this feature will only let players get mods that they have already received before. The steps for converting mods are as follows:
This is a simple yet very useful feature that should help ease the grind, especially for players who aren’t keen on repeatedly runningOnce Human’sSecurement Silo dungeons. It’s the easiest and most convenient way to get mods, but it can also be quite expensive.
How To Alter Suffixes And Substats
Players canget mods with Suffixes of their choiceusing the Mod Conversion feature as well, making the game even less grindy than usual. You can do this by selecting the Suffix button on the right-hand side of the menu, then picking the Suffix you want to get from the list that appears.
Doing this guarantees that you’ll get a mod with your chosen Suffix. However, this requiresfour other mods of the same rarity that already have the same Suffix. For example, if you want Shrapnel Souvenir, then you must first have four other Violent mods in your inventory.
Also, there are indicators above the Suffix button that show the rarity of the attributes/substats of your new mod once you finish the conversion process. If you sacrifice mods that have rare or upgraded substats, then your new mod will have a better chance of getting rarer substats right off the bat. If you’re desperately looking to get a mod with crit stats for aJaws Unstable Bomber build inOnce Human, then using this feature might be worth it.
