Updated on June 13, 2025, by Jake Fillery:Players have new opportunities to become Doctor Doom in Fortnite thanks to the limited-time mode, Day of Doom, in which the side of villains are able to claim the diabolical power of Marvel’s greatest villain. Whether it’s in the LTM or the Battle Royale mode, everyone has the opportunity to become Doctor Doom, but speed and skillful abilities are going to be required.
How to Become Doctor Doom in the Day of Doom LTM
In the Day of Doom LTM, players who have been placed on the villain’s side of the match can become Doctor Doom by acquiring the first Artifact that drops onto the map. The artifact spawns in at random, so be sure to keep an eye on the map to see where it’s landing. The first villain to claim the Artifact, which takes 6 seconds, will respawn as Doctor Doom. Acquiring the Artifact isn’t easy, as teammates will want this power, and the hero side will be tasked with defending the Artifact. The best way to capture the Artifact in Day of Doom is by being a tad sneaky or laying down a skillful assault with allies.
If players die as Doctor Doom in the Day of Doom LTM, or they have yet to become Doctor Doom, then they will have a random chance upon respawning to be selected as the new Doom. It’s a random process, so just try to enjoy Day of Doom until great power comes to great hands.
How to Get the Armor of Doom in Fortnite
In order to enter into the armor of Doctor Doom and unlock the powerful Armor of Doom Mythic, players must play in either Battle Royale or Zero Build’s casual playlists. The Armor of Doom is not available in competitive modes. The Armor of Doom is also available in Solos, Duos, Trios, and Squads, but only one player per match can become Doom’s Chosen and don the armor that will see them grow in ultimate power.
To obtain the Armor of Doom, players must capture the Isle of Doom to use the Cauldron of Power.TheIsle of Doom has a 5% spawn rate, which is once every twenty games. The Isle of Doom replaces Loot Island andwill spawn after the 4th Storm Circle has set, which will be around 12 minutes into the match. With such a low spawn rate and such a demand to get it, players are going to have to rush to the Isle of Doom and bring the best weapons to the fight as they attempt tocapture the Cauldron of Power, which takes around 45 seconds. After capturing the Cauldron of Power, a green projection of Doom will appear, and the first player to hold the interact button on the Cauldron of Power will be transformed, whilst other players look with fear and jealousy.
It’s easy to tell if the Island of Doom has spawned as the Loot Island icon will be green instead of blue, and a message will appear on everyone’s screen:The Isle of Doom is rifting in! Embrace the power it holds!
How to Use the Armor of Doom in Fortnite

Don the Armor of Doom. Unleash a beam of pure energy from your palm. Exert dominance over gravity with an otherworldly leap.
Once players have claimed the Cauldron of Power and become Doom’s Chosen, they will be rifted high into the sky, far too high to be shot at. A cool animation will play where Doom’s armor encases them, replacing their character model with that of Doom, and growing in size to then drop down like one would from the Battle Bus. Players don’t need to pull out their glider, asDoom is immune to fall damage.
Upon spawning in with the Ultra Doom Armor,players will have 500 Health and 500 Shield. Each elimination grants 200 Siphon. Becoming Doctor Doom inFortnitegrants 4 incredibly powerful abilities:
The Ultra Doom Armor has some incredibly powerful abilities, but a few restrictions. Players cannot use other weapons or get into vehicles whilst playing as Doom, and there is no way to drop the Mythic. If players manage to claim a victory as Doom’s Chosen thanks to the Doom Armor, then the Victory Royale screen is replaced with Victory Von Doom, but aVictory Crown is grantedall the same.
