How To Defeat Magnamalo In Monster Hunter Now
This beast is far tougher than the majority of the available roster inMonster Hunter Now. It ishighly recommended you lock onto body parts, as breaking them will stun Magnamalo for a long time, allowing you to get some hits in. While its weakness is water, theHunter Guidealso mentions thatthunder-element attacks can be effectiveagainst the body parts that are covered in hellfire — the purple aura that emits from Magnamalo’s limbs.
Most of its attacks are quick swipes and leaps that you just need to get used to timing your dodges against. However, the main thing to be careful of is Magnamalo’s tail. If you see it whip about, it’s about to fire a full-screen laser for massive damage. Slower waves of the tail indicate that hellfire-infused fireballs are about to rain down on you, so time your dodge well to avoid theHellfire blight status ailment, which can cause extra damage if you don’t deal with it by hitting Magnamalo consistently. Breaking its tail ishandy for monster material drops, but you should only try this if you’re hunting with other people.
