Honkai: Star Railhas officially provided more details about the upcoming five-star character Lingsha, who is scheduled to join the roster in a couple of days. Lingsha was previously confirmed as the second five-star character to be introduced inHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.5.

HoYoverse’s most recentCharacter Previewhas revealed a wealth of information aboutHonkai: Star Rail’s new Abundance five-star, Lingsha. According to her official description, Lingsha is the new Cauldron Master of the Xianzhou Luofu’s Alchemy Commission. She is a skilled Vidyadhara healer who uses her sharp sense of smell to diagnose illnesses. According to the official Character Preview, Lingsha’s Talent is called Mistdance Manifest, and it allows her to summon her companion Fuyuan, who has a fixed SPD stat. Upon taking action, Fuyuan will launch a follow-up attack that deals Fire damage to all enemies on the field. Fuyuan additionally deals Fire DMG to a single random enemy.

Fuyuan can also dispel a debuff from allies and restore their HP, scaling with Lingsha’s ATK stat. The majority of the new character’s kit scales with ATK, meaning that her skill, Smoke and Splendor, deals Fire DMG to all enemies and restores HP equal to her ATK. Dripping Mistcape is the name of the Fire user’s Ultimate, and it causes allHonkai: Star Railenemiesto enter a special state called Befog. During Befog, enemies will receive increased Break damage for a number of turns. The character’s Ultimate also deals Fire damage to all enemy units and restores HP equal to Lingsha’s ATK.
Similar to otherfive-star units inHonkai: Star Rail, Lingsha will have three Character Traces. The Vermilion Waft Trace will increase her ATK or healing, scaling with the Break Effect. The Sylvan Smoke Trace allows the Abundance character to restore a certain amount of Energy when she uses her Basic Attack. The third Trace, Ember’s Echo, causes Fuyuan to perform a follow-up attack whenever a teammate’s HP drops.
In terms of her party role, her kit suggests that Lingsha will work well in teams that focus on the Break effect. This means she will likely have great synergy withpowerfulHonkai: Star Railcharacterssuch as Firefly, Boothill, and Xueyi. She can also function as a hybrid support for teams that need both damage and healing.
