Ahead of the RPG’s six-month anniversary, many digital versions ofDragon’s Dogma 2received significant price cuts in late September 2024. Steam users can hence currently pick up the game at 43% off, or $39.89. Meanwhile, theDeluxe Edition ofDragon’s Dogma 2is presently available for $49.59, or 38% off, on Valve’s storefront. Both of these deals mark all-time low prices for their respective editions of the game’s PC port.

The Standard Edition of theDragon’s Dogma 2PS5 versionhas also been discounted by the same amount, thus dropping to its lowest-ever price on Sony’s console. Although the PlayStation Store doesn’t currently offer a deal on the Deluxe Edition, its ongoing sale runs until October 10. Meanwhile, Steam users only have until September 29 to take advantage of Capcom’s recently launched deals.
The Japanese gaming giant has also discounted the game’s Xbox port, although this offer is marginally worse, offering the Standard Edition of the game at 40% off, or $41.99. Regardless, that’s still the lowest price the RPG has ever reached on the Xbox Store. Owners of Microsoft’s current-gen consoles have until September 23 to take advantage of this deal.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Free Console Trials Are Back Until Early October 2024
Console users who are on the fence about the 2024 RPG should bear in mind that Capcom recently relaunched itsDragon’s Dogma 2free trial campaign, which was previously available between late June and mid-July 2024. This time around, Xbox Series X/S users have until October 1 to try out the game at no cost, whereas their PS5-owning peers can do so by October 9. The demo version ofDragon’s Dogma 2ends after exactly two hours of playing time. While this trial isn’t available on PC, Steam does offer the game’s standalone character creator, which is also available free of charge on the PlayStation and Xbox Stores.
