One of the most important requirements for a Beater is to handle a Bludger like it’s a part of their body. They need to be able to throw it as hard as possible. InHarry Potter: Quidditch Champions, players can invest their hard-earned points after every match in different skills depending on the position they’re playing.
When playing as a Beater, it’s important to prioritize skills such as Bludger Damage I-III, and Tackle Damage 1 and 2. They can cause enemies to fall off their brooms sooner after being hit with a few Bludgers, which can be the difference betweenwinning a gameor losing it.

It’s undeniable that a Beater’s strongest weapon is the Bludger, and that they should rely on their ability to hit it hard and direct it towards members of the opposing team. However, body attacks should not be underestimated. Beaters will often find themselves in situations where the other team has the Bludger, rendering them unable to perform long-range attacks.
In such cases, tackling other players is also very useful, as it still inflicts damage and can mess with their momentum. InHarry Potter: Quidditch Champions, tackling can be used in conjunction with the Bludger as a combined attack. If Beaters can manage to hit Seekers, Chasers or Keepers with the Bludger and then quickly follow up with a tackle, they’re more likely to knock them off their broom quicker.
