Recently, oneHalofan known as BigRubberMallet paid homage to the classic Covenant aircraft. Specifically, they made a real-life version of the vehicle out of LEGO pieces, with the finished design looking strikingly similar to the one seen in the first games. Based on the images, the Banshee featured a purple coloration, and the top could be moved up, allowing a minifigure to pilot it. The builder also included a couple ofMarines from theHalogames, along with a few other items. It is worth pointing out that BigRubberMallet has created otherHalo-inspired vehicles, with the final image in their recent Reddit post showcasing impressive recreations of the Warthog and Ghost vehicles.

When sharing the post on Reddit, BigRubberMallet discussed the LEGO builds. According to the builder, the Banshee and the other vehicles were physical models. They also revealed the custom Elite, Spartans, and Marines came from a few smaller companies specializing in making custom LEGO parts. So far, the LEGO Banshee has been a hit on theHalosubreddit, gaining 3.4K upvotes.
This LEGO fan creation comes at a time when many gamers are feeling nostalgic for the franchise. With the originalHalo: Combat Evolvedturning 25 in 2026, Xbox has started teasing future plans for the franchise. Recently, the Head of Xbox gaming consumer products, John Friend, said that the company is “building plans” tocelebrateHalo’s 25th anniversary. What that will involve remains to be seen.
