The official artwork also revealed that the new version of the game is called “The Rainbow Destined to Burn.” Regarding the official release date, following HoYoverse’s usual update schedule, players can expectGenshin Impactupdate 5.1to drop around October 9. PreviousGenshin Impactleaks have suggested that players will get to explore another part of Natlan in the coming update.

According to recent beta images, the new area has a much darker tone, showing clear signs that the Pyro nation is corrupted by the Abyss. Beta leaks have also revealed numerous details about the upcoming five-star Geo user Xilonen. She will apparently be a flexible support or sub-DPS who can fit many different team compositions, which is uncommon forGeo characters inGenshin Impact. She is often compared to Kazuha, the wandering Inazuma Ronin.
Xilonen can also provide healing. However, her healing potential is not too high, so players should probably include another healer in their team composition. As expected, being the only new character, Xilonen is likely to be featured in the first banner cycle ofGenshin Impact5.1.
