According to datamined information, players will be able to obtain a few extra pulls for Xilonen in Version 5.1, asGenshin Impactwill award bonus Primogems to those who have reached certain exploration milestones for Natlan. While Version 5.1 is set to continue the Archon Quests inGenshin Impact, it will not feature any further map expansion. In order to obtain their favorite 5-Star characters, most fans welcome any source of Primogems that the game throws at them, but the lack of an area to explore in Version 5.1 will certainly play a factor.

It’s fair to say that the update is extremely stacked from a gacha perspective, and will try its best to part players with their Intertwined Wishes ahead of Mavuika’s debut in Version 5.3. Xilonen is expected to be a universal Geo Support, capable of strengthening most teams not reliant on Dendro or Anemo. On the other hand, Chiori is a Mono Geo staple, offering a niche that Xilonen cannot fulfill until she reaches C2. The final two characters need no introduction, as Nahida elevates any Dendro composition, while Hu Tao is one of the best Pyro hypercarries.
To help make up the difference in expected Primogems, it would seem that the developers are adding a temporaryreward inGenshin Impacttied to Natlan exploration. According todatamined information provided by HomDGCat, it will only be available for the duration of Version 5.1, and will amount to a grand total of 400 Primogems. The exploration thresholds are currently unknown. That being said, the reward for completing the Archon Quest while the content is current will continue in Version 5.1, and players will be able to obtain 500 Primogems by playing through Act 3 and Act 4 before June 21, 2025.

While 900 Primogems amount to just a bit over five Intertwined Wishes, most players know how much of a difference those extra funds can make when trying to summon theirdesired 5-star character inGenshin Impact. Compared to previous regions, Natlan has been especially generous, both in terms of its Anniversary rewards, and in terms of adding bonus Primogems to its content – such as the Statue of the Seven, or the Sigil Offerings.
It remains to be seen if HoYoverse will balance this out by releasing new5-Star characters inGenshin Impactmore frequently, but as it stands, players find themselves in a favorable position to engage with the game’s gacha system. Version 5.1 will be released on Jul 04, 2025, and the initial Event Banners will feature Chiori and Xilonen.
