Funko Fusion Celebrates All Sorts of Different Franchises

Some Lesser Known Franchises Shine Within Funko Fusion

When players first start theirFunko Fusionadventures, they are able to jump into one of the many IPs within this adventure. Specifically, they can choose tostart their journey inJurassic World,The Umbrella Academy,Masters of the Universe,Hot Fuzz,The Thing, andBattlestar Galactica. Then, after a quick intro, they are plunged into these worlds and get to experience everything that these franchises have to offer. And while the likes ofJurassic WorldandThe Umbrella Academyare pretty well-known, having smaller IPs likeHot FuzzandThe Thingright next to them is fantastic to see.

As players exploreFunko Fusion, they will encounter many other IPs that do not really dominate pop culture. They can explore the world as Xena fromXena Warrior Princess, battle back foes as Sven fromVoltron, test their mettle with Shaun fromShaun of the Dead, and even control the likes of Emerald Haywood fromNopeor Rick O’Connell fromThe Mummy. On top of that, there are characters from Universal Monsters,Knight Rider,Child’s Play, and even Colonel Sanders from KFC. All of which make for a wild roster that is well worth the price of admission.

Funko Fusion May Give These Franchises a Second Shot

It did not seem likely that franchises such asXena: Warrior Princesswould ever staralongside the likes ofJurassic World, yetFunko Fusionhas done just that. Even if the franchise has been relatively untapped for years, it still gets its time to shine within this game through playable characters, cameo levels, and worlds devoted to it. That not only makes the game feel extremely special, but it may also give some of these IPs a bit of a second shot as they are introduced to new and old fans alike.

This approach is actually par for the course with the Funko brand. For years, the company has made a name for itself byturning all sorts of characters into Funko Pops. No matter how old or obscure the franchise is, Funko seems to try and shed light on it. And it has not stopped at these IPs either, as practically every food brand, mascot, and notable famous person has gotten figures of their own.

Spotlighting these franchises is great for fans, and also serves as a fantastic way for newcomers to experience them for the first time. And ifFunko Fusionbecomes its own franchise, it will hopefully never stop approaching popular culture like this. Because although the game may have taken over 20 IPs for a spin, there are still countless more just waiting for their time to shine once more.
