Frostpunk 2: How to Increase Workforce
Workforce Slider
Before getting into growing a Workforce it is important to note that a District (and its Buildings) needs to have 100% of its required Workforce fulfilled in order to operate at maximum output. However, players can decrease the output of a District (and its Buildings) by clicking on a District and adjusting the Workforce slider in the information pane that appears. As players decrease the District’s output, they will also decrease the Workforce that is dedicated to it, making some members available for other tasks.
This is a great option for players who need immediate access to additional Workforce. Indeed, if astrategy gamefan really needed to build a Food District, but did not have the requisite Workforce, they could simply bring down the output of some other Districts, perform the construction, and then return some Workforce to the Districts from which they were removed.
Population
Workforce is connected directly to Population, and players will add members to their Workforce every time their City grows in Population. While a City’s Population will continually grow if favorable conditions are maintained, fans can increase the rate of that growth by improving their Population Growth. Thisguide to increasing Population Growth inFrostpunk 2will assist with that endeavor, and players who pursue some of the options that it details will increase their Workforces more quickly than players who do not.
Laws
There are several Laws that increase the percentage of the Population that participate in the Workforce when enacted. Additionally, there are Laws that decrease Workforce requirements, making the established Workforce more effective. Here is a list of those Laws as well as details about how to make them available within the Council Hall:
Hubs
Frostpunk 2playerscan gain access to Air Transport Hubs by researching Air Transport Hubs (Idea Tree: Hubs). These structures decrease the Workforce Requirements in nearby Districts and will free up Workforce members for other tasks.
Production Efficiency
While not technically a way to get more Workforce, players can make their established Workforce more effective by increasing Production Efficiency. This allows fans ofcity-buildersto maintain the outputs of their resource-producing Districts with fewer Workforce, and players should definitely try adjusting their District’s Workforce sliders as Production Efficiency grows. Here are several ways to go about increasing Production Efficiency, though it is not a comprehensive list:
Disease
