More Fortnite Price Hikes Are Planned ‘Around the World’

If Epic’s past pricing adjustments are any indication, these newly announced changes won’t require taking the game offline for maintenance, as the developer should be able to implement them from the server side. The exact time for when the new prices will go into effect on October 14 hasn’t been announced. But what Epic did say is that these won’t be the last ofFortniteprice hikesin the foreseeable future. “We plan to make pricing adjustments around the world on a more regular basis,” a company representative wrote, framing these changes as also geared toward responding to various macroeconomic developments the world over.

We plan to make pricing adjustments around the world on a more regular basis.

It is currently unclear when these additional pricing adjustments might see the light of day, or how many countries they will encompass. Back in 2023, the prices ofFortniteV-Bucks went up in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Norway, Turkey, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the entire European Union.
