The newest season of the battle royale even added exclusive locations based on Marvel properties, like Castle Doom and Doomstadt coming toFortnite’s in-game map. However, the Marvel crossover is now set to receive another major boost with an upcoming LTM.
Fortniteofficially teased the impending addition of a new LTM to the game on Sunday morning through the game’s official social media accounts. The teaser simply states thatFortnitewill be receiving a “New LTM on Tuesday,” without sharing any details about the mysterious new game mode. ProminentFortniteleaker ShiinaBR would later add onto the announcement, hinting at the addition of a new “Heroes vs. Villains” LTM to coincide withFortnite’s ongoing Marvel-themed season. ShiinaBR also suggests that all ofFortnite’s past Marvel Mythics will be re-added to the game with the new LTM.

WhileFortnitehas not officially announced details about the new LTM, Epic Games has teased plenty of other future updates coming to the battle royale.Fortniterevealed thatthe Siphon mechanic will be making a returnnext year as part of a trial to test the feature for the Competitive game modes. Leaks and teasers have also hinted at a variety of upcoming patches forFortnite, ranging from the potential return of Chapter 2 content to a major crossover with NASCAR.
