S-Tier Skins: The Best of the Best
A-Tier Skins: Great Additions to the Game
Though not as iconic as the S-tier skins, there’s still a lot to appreciate in this category. In addition to being unique skins with fun designs, characters like Princess Lexa, Gildhart, Shimmerdusk, and Silas Hesk were great thematic fits for their respective seasons/chapters. Galaxia was also thefirst ever Fortnite Crew skinand set a high standard for all that followed.
B-Tier Skins: Above Average Designs
These skins might not make the average player rush out to snag a Crew subscription, but they’re all worthy locker additions. Sylvie and Rift Knight Kieran make for fun duo outfits — so does Persephone for any player who got Hades in theChapter 5 Season 2 battle pass— and Breezabelle is a nice update on the popular Isabelle skin. Loki and Wolverine Zero are both high quality skins, though many Marvel fans have questioned Epic’s decision to forever lock them away behind Crew Packs.
C-Tier Skins: Decent but Not Noteworthy
Generally speaking, these character designs are decent. Some thought clearly went into them, but the final product has a more niche appeal than the skins in the previous three tiers. That isn’t to say that any of these skins are bad — clearly someone liked the Cube Assassin as it’s making its way into the upcomingBattle Bus Lego set— but they’ll likely be glossed over by players browsing their lockers.
D-Tier Skins: Trailing Behind the Pack
None of these designs are abysmal, but the personality gushing from previously mentioned skins has started drying up at this tier. Snow Stealth Slone and Summer Skye are fine skins on their own, but they’re both inferior to their original battle pass counterparts. Mecha Strike Commander is similarly a more bland-looking version of Mecha Team Leader. Skins like Southpaw and the Inkquisitor at least present some unique ideas within their designs, but their overall aesthetics aren’t as strong as they could be.
