While it remains to be seenhow theDawntrail’s full story will play out, players will soon have an idea of what to expect in the coming months.According to Square Enix, Part 83 of Letter From the Producer Live will be broadcast during the 2024 Tokyo Game Show on September 29 at 1:50 AM Eastern. The 90-minute presentation will be hosted by Naoki Yoshida and broadcast onFinal Fantasy 14’s YouTube channel with Japanese and English text available. Aside from learning what the update’s title will be, players can also expect to see details about the Futures Rewritten (Ultimate) raid, the Extreme version of the Interphos trial, and the opening act of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid series that is part of a collaboration withFinal Fantasy 11.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.1 Will Be Discussed at Tokyo Game Show 2024

Final Fantasy 14Patch 7.1 will bring Job balance updates to both PvE and PvP content, and will also offer various quality-of-life enhancements. During a PAX West Panel, aplanned update to the Group Pose featureslated for Patch 7.1 will allow fishers to take a posed screenshot while their line is cast. Other features that are planned during theDawntrailpatch cycle include the addition of chat bubbles, a raid strategy planner, and a Portrait mode option for Group Poses.

Even thoughFinal Fantasy 14’s current story is in its early stages, Yoshida said thatDawntrailwill still have plenty of contentfor players to enjoy over the next few years. This upcoming Live Letter will be the first of two planned broadcasts that touch upon Patch 7.1 and other miscellaneous updates.
