As the twentieth major update forFallout 76, Milepost Zero brought tons of new content to the game alongside some minor fixes. The major update also kicked off season 18 of the title and was originally planned to include new caravan changes in the form of more content for the Blue Ridge Caravan Company. This content was unfortunately delayed and wasn’t present in the initial release of Milepost Zero, but is now available inFallout 76as a part of the latest update.
The latest patch for the Milepost Zero update inFallout 76has been detailed by Bethesda and brings some welcome content to the title. The update followsthe release of season 18 inFallout 76and fixes some bugs that came with the start of the new season. Most notably, the promised caravan update that was delayed ahead of the initial release of Milepost Zero has now been added. Players can start their own caravan, making deliveries around Skyline Valley as they protect their goods from a variety of raiders and creatures.
Along with players finally getting access to this new content, an additional quest has also been added. “A Bump in the Road” allows players to kick-start their career as a caravan leader inSkyline Valley inFallout 76. Additionally, several smaller bugs have been fixed, with Red and White Rose Bushes and Meat Lockers no longer appearing invisible when players place them in the world. Enemies now properly leave their loot behind when they are downed and players will now receive an additional prompt when trying to scrap any item that is seasonal, from the atomic shop, or has a skin on it.
