What Content Will Wuthering Waves Receive in Version 1.3?

Details about this explorable area are scarce, but leaks claim it’s a remote island where players will uncover the secrets of a strange organization. The upcoming location will reportedly feel visibly different compared to other regions and have a futuristic vibe.
It’s safe to assume that, in Black Shores, players will take on new enemies and complete missions to progress through the story. More details about the upcoming archipelago will be revealed before the release of version 1.3.
Wuthering Waves' version 1.3 will bring new enemies, Fallacy of No Return and Hedgepuff, which have their own unique abilities. Players will allegedly encounter these creatures while discovering the Black Shores region. Aside from Hedgepuff and Fallacy of No Return, the version 1.3 update will introduce several NPCs who contribute to the game’s story.
Wuthering Waves Will Add Portal Puzzles and a New Companion Mission
The developers have recently confirmed that version 1.3 will bring Portal Puzzles, which allow players to travel between regions. Details about these rectangle gates are scarce, but several early leaks indicate that they are located in the Black Shores region. Players can expect Portal Puzzles to make discovering the sections of Black Shores more fun.
Aside from new gameplay elements, version 1.3 will bring a companion mission later this month. As per the developers, this mission will be dedicated toWuthering Waves' Encore, a five-star playable character players can obtain from the Standard banner. It will likely reveal unknown details about Encore’s story background and personality.
Shorekeeper and Youhu Will Make Their Debut in Version 1.3
In version 1.3,Wuthering Waveswill expand its playable roster with Shorekeeperand Youhu, two female characters with unique skills. These units have received their drip marketing campaigns, but their kits remain a mystery. According to leaks, Shorekeeper will be a five-star Resonator with the Spector attribute. She will reportedly take on the healer role and specialize in the Rectifier weapon type. Her signature weapon will allegedly give energy regeneration and increase her health by 12%.
Using her Resonance Skill, Shorekeeper will heal all allies and summon Dim Star Butterflies that deal Spectro damage. She will allegedly generate Collapsed Cores, which emerge as Flare Star Butterflies after a certain time. These companions track the enemy and dish out Spectro damage like Dim Star Butterflies.

Youhu, on the other hand, will reportedly be a four-star Resonator with the Glacio attribute. Based on leaks, the character will use gauntlets, which suggests she will specialize in close-range combat. When basic attacks hit the target, Youhu will obtain Frost and use it to perform heavy attacks. Using one of her skills, the character will release a Poetic Essence that deals Glacio damage to targets within a range.
Youhu’s Resonance Skill will allow her to smash an enemy with gauntlets and heal all nearby allies. Her Resonance Liberation, on the other hand, will allegedly deliver a degree of AoE Glacio damage.
