It’s an exciting week forHonkai: Star Railfans as Version 2.5 was recently released with new features and additions. These major patches usually come with new characters, fresh story quests, and endgame mode updates. However, Version 2.5 is especially packed because it introduces new banners, new events, new Planar Sets,Divergent Universechanges, and a cute new feature.
The 2.5 patch forHonkai: Star Rail, namedFlying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue, provides major updates to the Trailblaze Continuance story of the Astral Express’ journey back to the Xianzhou Luofu. General Jing Yuan invited the crew to enjoy the Wardance Festival. However, asusual, not everything goes as planned.The Borisin, a rival faction to the Xianzhou Alliance, has infiltrated the Luofu to free their imprisoned leader residing within the Luofu’s Shackling Prison. It’s up to the Trailblazers to work with Jing Yuan, The Ten-Lords Commission, Yaoqing General Feixiao, and the rest of the Alliance to stop this dangerous escape plot.
New 5-Star and 4-Star Banners Coming to Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5
The new banners are the most-awaited additions toHonkai:StarRailVersion 2.5. Apart from the new limited 5-stars, this patch has not two, but four rerun banners for past units and a new 4-star character.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5 Phase 1 Banners
Thenew 4-star Lightning-Hunt character Mozealso has a boosted drop rate for these banners together with Asta and Luka. Their light cones will also be boosted with the limited ones during this phase. Players planning to pull Feixiao and Moze also need to farm these new ascension materials to level them up:
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5 Phase 2 Banners
The boosted four stars during this phase are Guinaifen, Natasha, and Misha. The 4-starLight ConesShared Feeling, Planetary Rendezvous, and Shadowed by Night will also be boosted in the limited LC banners.

The Luminary Wardance Ceremony and Festive Revelry Events Offer Big Rewards
During the Luminary Wardance Ceremony, players will coach Belobog’s contender Luka through a series of matches, where they’ll battle against familiar faces like Boothill, Topaz, and Argenti. Apart from defeating the enemy, players also need to bring out their flashiest moves to get a big buff from the audience. Players shouldn’t skip this event, as it provides three Eidolons forMarch 7th (The Hunt), Stellar Jades, and Relic crafting materials.
Mini-game fans rejoice. Players can enjoy the new cargo stacking event, Festive Revelry, even if they haven’t finished this patch’s story quests. This is great for F2P and low-spender fans as well, as it provides even more Stellar Jades while offering leveling and Relic materials.
Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 Launches its Pet Feature
HSRfinally launched its pet system in Version 2.5, andplayers can unlock the Tukspir petafter completing the Luminary Wardance event. This little critter follows the player around in the overworld. Pets seem to be purely cosmetic at the moment, and it’s exciting to see what kind of cute and cool critters will come to the game in the future.
Divergent Universe and Echo of War Additions and Changes
Honkai: Star Rail’s Divergent Universe game mode will add brand-new ordinary Curios, Weighted Curios, and Occurrences to give players even more ways to make their simulated teams overpowered. Some existing Equations, Weighted Curios, and Blessings will also be revised during this time. Meanwhile, the synchronicity level will be increased to level 80, which will come with rewards like Stellar Jades and Traveler’s Guides. Adventure Domain enjoyers will also be pleased to learn that exciting new games, Cowboy Showdown and Surging Firepower, will be added to the mode.
The Echo of War: Inner Beast’s Battlefield will also be released in Version 2.5. This drops the Auspice Silver, a 4-star trace material for Moze and Lingsha. The boss may also drop items from The Ashblazing Grand Duke and Watchmaker, Master of Dream Machinations Relic sets, along with Lucent Afterglow currency. Trailblazers can also obtain the rest of the trace materials for Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze early for a limited time. This way, they don’t have to worry about finishing the story quests just to be able to farm for their characters’ trace upgrades.
