Enotria: The Last Song Has Countless Improvements Ahead

Enotria’s September 2024 Patches Will Make Some Quick Fixes

Several patches are coming toEnotria: The Last Songin the remainder of September that will address a few issues currently plaguing the game, though some may consider one fix, in particular, to be an unnecessary one. One of the most notable updates will round out some ofEnotria’s biggest difficulty spikes, with the High Priestess of Veltha being specifically mentioned in the roadmap. Many players have had complaints about the High Priestess' difficulty, so this is welcome news.

Another noteworthy, and potentially disappointing, update will nerf the Sickness debuff inflicted byEnotria’s Malanno element. The primary reason some players might be disappointed in the nerf is that Malanno builds have helped many to make it throughEnotria’s toughest challenges. However, this nerf will also apply to any Sickness debuffs players are afflicted with as well, so there is an upside.

Enotria’s November 2024 Patch Will Focus on Quality-of-Life Improvements and Tuning

Enotriawill receive another major patch in November 2024, bringing with it several quality-of-life improvements and tuning. Some of its smallest changes include the addition of button prompts to the interface tutorial, the removal of the Awakened requirement of some skills, value added to weapon rarity, an additional cutscene forEnotria’s true ending, and improved quality of the HLOD.

One of the more significant changes coming in November will allow players to respec via Pulcinella at theTheater of the Masksrather than the High Priestess of Veltha. Since the High Priestess has been considered by many to be the toughest boss in the game, and she must be defeated if players want to respec their stats inEnotria, this update couldn’t come any sooner.

Enotria’s January 2025 Patch Will Prioritize Polishing Various Gameplay Elements

Enotria’s January 2025 patch, otherwise known as the “Polish Patch,” will largely address the fluidity ofEnotria’s gameplay, but it will also polish the game’s visuals. Quest guidance will be improved in general, and smaller additions will be made to the game, like more inventory filters, a voiceover forEnotria’s intro sequence, and the ability to auto-sell weapons. While these updates are welcome, the biggest fix coming withEnotria’s January 2025 patch will improve the Maskless One’s movement, which has been ruthlessly criticized as janky and sluggish since the game’s release.

Enotria’s March 2025 Patch Will Include an Expanded Moveset and New Voiceovers

The final major patch forEnotria— according to the current roadmap, at least — will be arriving in March 2025 with a massive improvement to the game’s combat, alongside a few less significant updates. Several additions, like video previews for Mask Lines, additional voiceovers for characters, and new MOCAP animations for every weapon class are desirable, but one update might outdo the rest. Using differentweapons inEnotriais a core part of its gameplay, but they all feel the same, aside from some being faster than others. Fortunately, March 2025’s patch will increase the variety of each weapon’s moveset, which has the potential to shake up playstyles as well.
