Update 43, termed ‘the Housing Update’ by many fans, has expanded the options available to fans ofElder Scrolls Online’sfeature-rich housing system. New Furnishings In ESO’s Housing Update
Most updates include new furnishings, and Update 43 is no different. This time around, a total of28 new furnishingscan be earned as rewards for daily quests in the West Weald. In addition to these furnishings, there are7 Master Writ Furnishings,which can be purchased with Master Writ tokens.
Where To Obtain West Weald Daily Quests
West Weald Daily Quests can beobtained in the city of Skingrad, not far from the Wayshrine. As usual, there are three separate quest givers clustered into one area who each give one quest per character per day.
Where To buy Master Writ Furnishings (Rolis Hlaalu Location)
Master Write Furnishings can only be purchased from one vendor in the game world:Rolis Hlaalu. Rolis Hlaalu sells all sorts of things, such as certain outfits and crafting styles, furnishings, and Praxis pages for learning how to craft certain furnishings — including the Master Writ Furnishings themselves.
The Master Writ vendor, Rolis Hlaalu, is present in three different base game locations in Tamriel. Rolis Hlaalu can be found inWayrest,in the region ofStormhaven;inElden Root,in the region ofGrahtwood;and inMournhold,in the region ofDeshaan.
The new Master Writ furnishings can be quite expensive, ranging from125 Master Writ Vouchers to 450 Master Writ Vouchers, but these are quite reasonable prices compared with some others in his stock. And, unfortunately, Rolis Hlaaludoesn’t accept gold.

Update 43 introduces two brand new, spectacular player homes:Seabloom VillaandHaven of the Five Companions. These houses are quite spacious, with a large number of slots available for furnishings, and each one has a different style and theme. One of the houses is available through theHousing Starter Pack, available as an out-of-game DLC purchase, while the other is available free of charge as an event reward to players with the dedication to amass tickets inElder Scrolls Online’svarious holiday events.

Seabloom Villa is a picturesque new player home in theAldmeri Dominion’s island of Auridon. Long a h4ome to Altmer culture, its Auridon location gives Seabloom Villa a touch of Aldmeri culture and fits in with theisland aestheticvery well. This is a large player home, categorized in game as a manor, and has a lot of furnishing slots for players to fully customize it to their liking.
Seabloom Villa can be purchased as part of theHousing Starter Pack, available as a DLC and out-of-game purchase. The Housing Starter Pack comes with Seabloom Villa and800 Crowns,which can be used to buy furnishings for the new home.
How To Get Haven Of The Five Companions Player Home In Elder Scrolls Online
Haven of the Five Companions is a unique player home in theWest Weald, themed around the Five Companions, whose story is played out during the base game ofElder Scrolls Online.With rooms dedicated to each of the Five Companions, the Haven of the Five Companions is set to be an interesting space.
The Haven of the Five Companions is technically unreleased at the time of writing, but players will be able to purchase it using the in-game currency of event tickets.
Much like previous event rewards, the Haven of the Five Companions player home can be ‘morphed’ from a basic event reward into the home using event tickets.
Each event from now until the release of the house itself will include opportunities toearn ‘pieces’ of the home, which can be combined to create the home itself.
The Home Tours System Explained
Perhaps the biggest feature inESO’sUpdate 43 is the brand new Home Tours system.ESOhas always been great atrewarding explorationof its game world, and this new system brings that to a whole new space. This system allows any player totravel to any home in Tamrielthat has been flagged for use in the system. This is a pretty cool tool for anyone even a little bit into housing because it lets themshow off their hard work— and provides great inspiration for new builds.
How To Access Home Tours In Elder Scrolls Online
The Home Tours system is classified by the game aspart of the “grouping” system. The grouping system can be accessed on PC by pressing P, or it can be accessed by pressing the grouping screen icon when in another tab (see above image). Once the Home Tours system is selected, it opens up a few more options for players to use.
Recommended Homes
The system has recommended homes available to view as its first look. This can also be selected from under the Home Tours heading in the grouping screen. These willchange regularly and won’t be the same for every player, as the algorithm is apparently designed to showcase as many of the recommended homes as possible. But,the system is searchableas well, so players looking for houses by a specific player or with specific tags can do that if they wish.
Browse Homes
Players can also browse through all the homes on the system without any being specifically recommended. These homes will change regularly and be different for every player, so there should be something new to find every time.
As with other home tour modes, players can search by UserID, specific property, and tags to find exactly what they’re looking for.
Favorite Homes
For players who want to return to a home they’ve toured previously, the Favorite System is the perfect addition. This allows players toset homes as their favorites so they can returntime and time again. This is searchable just like the other parts of the home tours system, so even players who accrue many, many favorites should be easily able to find them.
Listing A Home For Home Tours
For many players the opportunity to show off their own homemaking skills is the most important part of theESOHousing Update. Once selected, players can choose the specific home they own that they want to make part of the system. The screen will then allow them to change the home’s visitor access toallow visitors, togive it a nicknameto make it stand out from the crowd, and will even let themadd tagsfor it to be more easily found by players looking for specific kinds of build.
