Most notably,Elden Ring’s latest patch adjusts the final boss in the game’s DLC, changing moves and decreasing the damage dealt by certain attacks. While the game has built a reputation of being difficult, players were shocked after taking on thefinal boss inElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, who many consider to be FromSoftware’s most difficult enemy yet. The boss’s attack range has also been limited, with the visibility of certain moves being improved as well.

The game’s latest update also includes changes toElden Ring’s PvP component, with several weapons receiving nerfs, like the Backhand Blades, dual-wielded Spears, and the Pata.Elden Ringalready featured a wide assortment of equipment, butShadow of the Erdtreemanaged to introduce several new weapons, bolstering even more playstyles. Fans will be glad to see several longstanding bugs finally be addressed, such as a glitch that prevented players from acquiring runes when an enemy was killed while holding a shield, as well as a bug that caused incorrect player motions to be performed while using lock-on for multiple Skills. Other bugs, like one that caused the “Leave” option to be unavailable in the inventory menu and one that made Sites of Grace harder to interact with, have also been fixed inElden Ring’s latest update.
