7The Mechanic

After players complete the Underworld mission, Danka, one of the only big-name brokers inStar Wars Outlaws, will give players a few side quests to tackle. The first one players should follow is called The Mechanic. This will take players to a wind farm where they will then get information on Selo Rovak, the titular mechanic in question.

She will help players patch up their Speeder but only after they get a part for her. This upgrade will allow players to boost their Speeder to go faster on the plains of wherever they travel. It will also unlock the ability tree for Selo Rovak because she is an Expert. The Slicer is another Expert-based side quest. Aila Bren is the slicer in question andslicing is the term applied to hacking inStar Wars Outlawsand in the greaterStar Warsfranchise. Aila is stuck infiltrating an Imperial Base and she needs help getting out which is where players come in.

After slicing through some modules herself, Kay will break Aila free, get a slicing upgrade, and unlock a new skill tree. One great ability of Aila’s is called Lightfooted which will deafen the sound of Kay’s footsteps. This will make it easier to get past guards or to take them out quietly like in any good stealth game.

Playing Kessel Sabacc in Star Wars Outlaws

5Shadows Of Deceit

Learn To Play Kessel Sabacc

Shadows of Deceit is another side quest from Danka but this is lower stakes compared to the other two. This mission will introduce players to one of the few mini-games inStar Wars Outlaws, Kessel Sabacc, which has been featured in the series before. It’s a card game wherein players have to get a pair of cards to be the lowest number possible to win that round.

If players lose all of their chips in that round then they are out. There are other stipulations too like cards that can modify the playstyle but overall it’s a pretty simple game to get. Kessel Sabacc is even easier if players change the settings in the options menu to make the cards read out as numbers instead of stylized patterns.

Verrick in Star Wars Outlaws

4Sabotage

Sneak Into A Pyke Syndicate Animal Facility

Sabotage is a more involved side quest wherein a member of the Hutt Cartell, Verrick hires Kay for a job. Players have to infiltrate a Pyke Syndicate station wherein they raise animals for trade. The goal is to release the animals as a distraction and then in the chaos, get some information from their compound’s master computer.

Before the mission begins, players will meet Verrick’s contact, Monda, who will give players further details. There’s a twist though. Monda is a spy for Crimson Dawn and asks players to betray the Hutt Cartell to gain a reputation within Crimson Spy. It’s one of the manychoices inStar Wars Outlawsbut both sides will net players with about the same rewards along with a reputation boost to either side.

A map of the Shipjacker Workshop location in Star Wars Outlaws

3Investigate The Shipjacker Workshop

Score A Good Amount Of Loot From A Non-Faction

The Shipjacker Workshop is located south of Mirogana and is not inherently tied to a quest wherein an NPC gives Kay a job. Instead, players can hear intel or read about the compound within Mirogana. They can also just stumble upon it if they know where to look on the map. If players choose to explore it, they will find the compound is worth their time.

The Shipjacker Workshop is filled with treasure and materials that will help with upgrades and gaining abilities. It’s also a good zone to practice in because all of these thugs are not associated with any of the four mainFactions withinStar Wars Outlaws. This means if players get caught, or die, they won’t lose any reputation.

The Mysterious Charm quest on the map in Star Wars Outlaws

2Mysterious Charm

Get The Overgrown Amber Stone Charm To Increase Health

Players are going to find a lot of intel-based side quests and among them all, Mysterious Charm is the unmissable one. The location of this chest can be found in the northwest corner of the map, around the Imperial Base, so even if players don’t have the information, they can find it on this map. Inside the chest players can get the Overgrown Amber Stone Major Charm.

InStar Wars Outlaws, there are Major and Minor Charms. Players will get one Major Charm slot throughout the adventure and several Minor Charm slots. The Overgrown Amber Stone will add a bar ofhealth to Kay which is great for the early stages ofStar Wars Outlaws. Also, there is an effect that will charge the Adrenaline meter if players get to a near-critical condition with Kay’s health.

Sneaking up on Stormtroopers in Star Wars Outlaws

1Look Out For Events

From Races To Protecting Civilians

Besides named side quests from NPCs and intel-based side quests from data, players can stumble across randomly generated side quests. These are called Events and they operate to similar happenings in otherUbisoft online gameslikeThe Division. Players will get some sort of signal over their communicator and then an exclamation mark will appear on the map.

The Imperials can alert those around about a hidden pirate stash, some civilians need protecting from bandits, and there are Speeder races too. The rewards won’t lead to anything rare, but they are quick in nature and they will at least give players some Credits to use in shops. It’s a good way to get supplies early on too.
