Ravensburger has announced a newDisney Lorcanaset calledAzurite Sea, which is scheduled to hit the market in mid-November 2024. The German company also confirmed the dates of some upcoming competitions centered on itsDisney-themed trading card game, in addition to announcing some upcoming accessories.
August 18 marked the one-year anniversary of thefirst edition ofDisney Lorcana. Since then, Ravensburger put out five expansions, each of which added over 200 cards to the popular TCG. The latest of those was Shimmering Skies, which became available for purchase in August 2024.
Disney Lorcana: Azurite Sea Expansion Coming in November 2024
Ravensburger will be following up on that release withAzurite Sea, the sixthDisney Lorcanaexpansionthat has just been officially announced during the company’s latest Lorecast livestream. The set is planned to hit the physical store shelves at select local game stores, Disneyland, and Walt Disney World Resort locations on November 15. Online retailers will begin offering it two weeks later, starting on November 29.
Azurite Sea Bringing Big Hero 6, Chip ‘n’ Dale Characters to Disney Lorcana

The new set will hence incorporate the movie’s protagonist, Baymax, together with Fred, Go Go Tomago, Hiro Hamada, Wasabi, and Honey Lemon. The iconic anthropomorphic chipmunks Chip and Dale are also part ofDisney Lorcana’s sixth expansion, as are Zipper, Gadget Hackwrench, and Monetery Jack fromChip ’n’ Dale Rescue Rangers. Regarding non-character cards, Ravensburger has so far showcased a few of them, including the Galactic Council Chamber, a location that cannot be challenged for as long as it houses a Robot or Alien character.
Ravensburger’s September 10 Lorecast saw the company reveal 18Azurite Seacards in total. The manufacturer’s track record suggests that many more will be unveiled in the coming weeks, as the set gets closer to its commercial debut. The TCG’s sixth expansion will also include two newDisney Lorcanastarter decks, which will feature Sapphire/Emerald and Ruby/Amber card combinations. Both will retail for $16.99.
Ravensburger today also announced a new$49.99 Illumineer’s Troveand two new playmats adorned by Donald Duck – Buccaneer and Elsa – The Fifth Spirit, as well as card sleeves and deck boxes featuring Winnie the Pooh – Hunny Wizard and Vengeful Lion fromThe Lion King. All of these will hit the store shelves in time for the 2024 holiday season. Ditto for the$49.9 Stitch Collector’s Gift Setthat has just been confirmed. Finally, the September 10 Lorecast saw Ravensburger reveal the dates of two upcoming North American and European Challenge Championship events, which will take place in December and January, respectively.
