Everything else in the game world, includinghow many resources and loot you’re able to find, remains the same no matter what difficulty you choose to play on. Additionally, difficulty settings don’t affect the game stage, which is how much the innate difficulty of the game increases depending on your level and survival skills.
How to Change Difficulty Settings in 7 Days to Die
To change your difficulty settings in7 Days to Die, you need tofind the difficulty tab under “General"when you first set up your server. You can scroll through the six difficulties mentioned above to choose which one you want to try out and leave it on that difficulty. When you start your server, you’ll load into the game with that difficulty. If you find it’s too easy or a bit too challenging, you can also change your difficulty setting after you’ve started the game.
You can do so by exiting your server and heading to the main menu. From here, click “Continue Game” and navigate to the server you want to change on the left side of the screen.
