Fortunately, this controller wasn’t bought at a scalped price, as Goldfitz17 confirmed with theConcordReddit community that they had bought the controller from PlayStation’s official online store on September 3, shortly after the game’s shutdown announcement was made. The controller is set to become a rare item, as it is currently listed as being unavailable for purchase.

In the same Reddit post, the user also thanked Firewalk Studios for developingConcordand allowing players to beta test the game before its launch. Goldfitz17 would like to meet players again someday, implying that they would like to seeConcordservers come back online in the future.PlayStation and Firewalk Studios are exploring options forConcord, which means a potential free-to-play re-release may be in the cards. However,Concord’s return may prove to be difficult, as many PlayStation fans were not interested in the game to begin with. Sales estimates suggest only 25,000 copies ofConcordwere sold, with roughly 15,000 copies being sold on PlayStation 5.

At the very least, the DualSense controller will carry onConcord’s legacy for those players who enjoyed the hero shooter. Fans won’t have to wait long to see the title again, asConcordwill be adapted into a new episode of Amazon’sSecret Level. The anthology series will premiere on December 10, but a release date for theConcord-themed episode has not yet been confirmed.
