Mega Knight and P.E.K.K.A. Evolutions Coming in Clash Royale Season 63
Game Rant was able to corroborate this information by contacting Supercell’s customer support. A company representative said that the P.E.K.K.A. and Mega Knight Evolutions were accidentally released as part of the latest maintenance update that rolled out on August 30. For a short while afterward, players were able to spendClash RoyaleEvolution Shardsto unlock them until Supercell pulled them from the game. While people who did so no longer have access to either Evolution as of September 1, they should soon have the Shards that they had spent returned to their accounts, assuming that hasn’t happened already, a company official told Game Rant.
There is still no word on when exactly the P.E.K.K.A. and Mega Knight Evolutions are set to debut in the game, beyond Supercell saying that both will arrive during Season 63. The upcoming season is scheduled to kick off on Monday, September 2, six days ahead of the seventh anniversary of the Mega Knight’s release.
New Clash Royale Card Evolution Abilities
Since the Mega Knight and P.E.K.K.A. are high-cost cards, Supercell opted to keep their Evolution cycles to a minimum, meaning that their every other deployment will be evolved. The Mega Knight’s Evolution Ability will be called Mega Uppercut, allowing the unit to push back a target by up to four tiles, which is just enough to trigger its jump attack. Meanwhile, the P.E.K.K.A.’s Evolution Ability, Healing Blade, will heal the unit 12.5% for each kill, even allowing it to overheal by up to 50%. Both of these Evolutions hence appear to have the potential to serve as the largest source of damage in some incrediblystrongClash Royaledecks.
