Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3andWarzoneare reaching their final season, with Week 8 of Season 5 marking its debut. Though this content drop doesn’t bring a whole lot into the game, oneadditional Season 5 attachmenthas made its arrival. This attachment is the JAK Devastators Aftermarket Part, which has finally arrived following its delayed release.
The JAK Devastators is an Aftermarket Part forthe Reclaimer 18 Shotgun, functioning similarly to the Akimbo attachment found on other guns in the game. In addition to giving players dual Reclaimer 18 Shotguns, the JAK Devastators halve the weapon’s ammo capacity, reduce damage range, and negatively impact hipfire spread. Despite these drawbacks, however, the JAK Devastators can be incredibly powerful with the right attachments.
How To Unlock The JAK Devastators
The JAK Devastators can beunlocked by completing five of seven Week 8 Challengesfor Season 5 ofModern Warfare 3andWarzone. These challenges offer different variations that can be completed in Multiplayer, Zombies, andWarzone, making them highly accessible for all players. The Week 8 Challenges can be viewed via the Launcher Menu by heading over to Challenges and then to the Weekly tab. On top of unlocking the JAK Devastators, completing the Week 8 challenges offers XP rewards, along withthe Chainbreaker Weapon Camo— if players have claimed all previous Weekly Rewards.
Once Season 6 starts, the JAK Devastators can be unlockedvia the Armory Unlock sectionif players have not acquired them during Season 5.
Best Jak Devastators Loadout For Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone
The Jak Devastators build for the Reclaimer 18 showcased below does a great job at mitigating its flaws while boosting other attributes. With the attachments highlighted below, players will find that sprint-to-fire speed, hip-fire accuracy, and hip-recoil control have all receivedmajor buffs. Damage range has also been boosted to counter the range reduction of the Aftermarket Part, along with providing a tighter pellet spread for more consistent one-shot kills. All these attributes provide players with a solidAkimbo weapon to usein bothModern Warfare 3andWarzone.

Some of the same benefits from the previous Multiplayer equipment package have been carried over, notably a boost to Tactical Sprint, faster reload speeds, and the ability to see footprint trails. However, this time, players will also be able to reveal Ghosted enemies on the minimap with a UAV, making even the stealthiest opponents vulnerable to these devastating Shotguns.
Secondary Recommendations For The Jak Devastators Loadout
For Core Multiplayer, the JAK Devastators are a solid option for players focused on close-range engagements, making them apowerhouse on maps like Shipment. However, due to the low magazine size of each Shotgun, players may need a backup weapon when their Primary is out of action. EntertheWSP Stinger, currently the best weapon in the Handgun category. Other strong Handgun options include theRenettiand theCOR-45, both offering higher damage output at the cost of a slower fire rate.
ForWarzone, however, the JAK Devastators instead serve better as a close-range support for a weapon that excels at long-range combat. Since the JAK Devastators function as Akimbo Shotguns, a full-auto weapon will serve best, instead of equipping a single-fire weapon like those found in the Sniper Rifle category.
