Summary
Boruto: Two Blue Vortexis continuing with great intensity, especially after the timeskip of the series. Fans recently got to see their beloved next-generation ninjas return from a 3-year timeskip, and it was clear to see that they had evolved significantly in terms of power, skill, and of course, their personalities as well.
Fans got a proper display of this within a few chapters into theBoruto: Two Blue Vortexmanga, and Boruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of the series, was clearly at the center of it. So far, he is the one that fans have seen most action through, and along with him, other characters, such as Mitsuki and Kawaki, have gotten quite a lot of attention as well. Unfortunately,Sarada Uchiha has been cast aside for now, but fans are hopeful that she will get attention later down the line, especially after it was made clear that she has awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan already, and that her eye can be used in a far more special way than any other in the series.

Sarada Uchiha Gained A Powerful Kekkei Genkai At The End Of Boruto: NNG
Sarada Uchiha awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. This happened towards the end of the manga, when Omnipotence truly took effect. When Naruto Uzumaki was proclaimed dead, something in her shook. It can be said that this response was a mix of knowing that Boruto was going to die and that Naruto was dead. Regardless, the emotional shock that Sarada suffered was way too intense and it allowed for her Mangekyo Sharingan to manifest for the very first time. The only one who witnessed this was Sasuke Uchiha, and it was because of this shock that Sasuke essentially decided to listen to Sarada and help Boruto Uzumaki. Meanwhile, Sarada herself did not realize that she had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, which is what made this power-up somewhat more exciting. Following this interaction with her father, Sarada Uchiha never really used the eye again. This is likely because she has no idea that she possesses this power, and has not had any major opportunities to showcase what she is truly capable of.

However, Boruto did have a 3-year time skip following the events of Omnipotence, and this might have been enough time for Sarada to realize the power that she held, and train it to the next level. Right now, fans are unsure if Sarada is still oblivious to the power that she holds, or if she has actually gone on to realize that and mastered her eye. Regardless of which way the story decides to go right now, Sarada Uchiha has to, eventually, manifest the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan and utilize it against her enemies. This is especially true if Saradawants to become the Hokage.Currently, she is way too weak compared to the other side characters in Boruto, such as Mitsuki, and now, even Himawari. Above all, the authors need to put more focus on her character.
Why Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan Powers Will Be Unique
Sarada Uchiha has already manifested her Mangekyo Sharingan powers. Regardless of whether she’s aware of it or not, eventually, she will utilize it again, and when that happens, fans will see her bring forth the powers of this eye in a majestic way. Fans know that similar eyes, especially among blood relatives, can have similar abilities even though Mangekyo Sharingan usually manifest different powers. For instance, Obito Uchiha had the power of Kamui in his eyes. Meanwhile, Itachi had Tsukuyomi in one eye, and Amaterasu in the other, while Sasuke had Amaterasu and Kagutsuchi. Similarly, every Uchiha has a unique ability that their eye offers them. In the case of Sarada Uchiha, she will get two unique powers as well.

As to what the powers will be, fans do not know right now. However, given that her eyes are sun-shaped, her Mangekyo powers could be related to Fire Release, and as such, be a manifestation of some sort of Amaterasu. It is also likely that she has a Genjutsu, like her uncle, and that would certainly be very cool for fans to witness.
As to what makes Sarada’s eye powers unique, fans know that Sarada is a user of Medical Ninjutsu as well. So far,Medical Ninjutsu has only been utilized with great efficiencyby a select few Sharingan users. Madara could utilize Medical Ninjutsu, and it certainly aided him greatly in battle. However, his level of Medical Ninjutsu was not at a point where he could heal the damage done by his own eyes to him. Sarada has already learned the basics of Medical Ninjutsu, and if she does go on to manifest the Byakugou and combine these powers with her Sharingan, then she will go on to become an incredibly overpowered user of this eye.
Sarada can essentially overuse the eye, and where others would go blind, Sarada would be able to heal all the damage done to her eyes. Depending on what abilities she gets, This could end up making her eyes the most unique.
Can Sarada Uchiha Gain The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan?
Sarada Wouldn’t Necessarily Need The Mangekyo Sharingan
Sarada Uchiha can grow tremendously strong and she will gain advanced Sharingan powers, regardless of whether she gets a pair of eyes to make her own eyes eternal or not. The author can handle this in two ways. The first way is for Sarada to gain Medical Ninjutsu, and then, utilize the power of the Byakugou at full throttle, which would then negate any side effects of the Mangekyo Sharingan. Whatever damage the eye does to her while utilizing it can be countered using the seal, and Sarada would essentially face no damage. She could also go on to overuse the powers of the Mangekyo Sharingan without any repercussions. Sarada can essentially become incredibly powerful, and she can explore advanced techniques of the Mangekyo Sharingan as well. Similarly, Sarada would also be ableto manifest a Full Body Susanoo, given that her eyes would not cause her any pain and that she would be able to manifest this power easily.
Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is not needed for a Full Body Susanoo, and this was proven by Kakashi in the war. This will essentially erase the need for Sarada to get an eye transplant so that she can progress in terms of strength.
Another exciting way the author can develop this storyline is for Sarada to essentially kill Hidari and take his eyes. Now, Hidari does not have the Sharingan. In fact,he clearly has the Rinnegan, as was seen in the last few chapters. However, it was clear for the fans to see that Hidaru was curious about the Sharingan after he failed to utilize Chidori properly. Given that he is a product of the 10 Tails, who itself has a Sharingan, perhaps, genetic mutation after being reborn would allow Hidari to manifest a Sharingan as well. If that were to be the case, then Sarada can essentially get a transplant from Hidari after beating it, and this would avoid the need for Sasuke to give her his own eyes as well.
Either way, fans can rest assured that Sarada Uchiha is going to progress greatly in the Boruto series and develop into one of the strongest ninjas of all time –one worthy of becoming the Hokage.
