How to Get the Bow in Der Eisendrache

The Wrath of the Ancients

TheWrath of the Ancientsis the bow found inBlack Ops 3 ZombiesDer Eisendrache map, where players will have access to 60 arrows that use explosive damage. Players are immune to this explosive damage, and it can be charged to use 2 arrows that will deal even more damage to zombies.

Upon spawning into Der Esiendrache, players must locate three Dragon Head Statues that are scattered in specific spots around the map. The Dragon Head Statues can be found at the following locations:

acquiring the lightning bow

At these Dragon Head Statues, players must awaken each of them bykilling a zombiewithin their vicinity. Once done, players must feed them 8 zombies in total. It’s important only to kill the next zombie when the Dragon Head has finished chewing, as the Dragon can only consume one zombie at a time. Players will know they have done it right as the zombie will do a flip as it dies and it will be sucked into the Dragon’s mouth. After 8 zombies, the Dragon Head will return to stone before crumbling.

Once all three Dragon Head Statues have been completed, players can venture down through Mission Control, past Speed Cola to see the resting place of a knight. Behind the knight’s tomb is the Wrath of the Ancients bow floating, for all players to take.

The Lightning Bow holds 75 arrows, and each one fires a ball of electricity that will shock zombies and even chain them like the Wunderwaffe DG-2. Charging each shot uses 2 arrows and will summon a thunderstorm that sweeps up zombies and electrocutes them, providing a 10-secondstorm of total death. Here’s how to get it:

Once the Wrath of the Ancients has been acquired, players will want to head to the top of the castle where they turn on the power and activate a Pack-a-Punch machine. When here, look towards the Clock Tower and use the Wrath of the Ancients to shoot at the weathervane. Doing so causes an arrow to emerge from the wall, where players can then pick it up for the next step.

wind symbol in the undercroft

With the broken arrow acquired, players are going to need to use the Wrath of the Ancients bow to shoot at some pyres that are out of the map’s bounds. When the pyre has been shot, a large fire will whirlwind, indicating it has been done correctly. The three bonfires can be located below:

For the next step, players must enter the Undercroft and ensure that they have activated the low-gravity zones by standing on the four squares on each side of the pyramid. Players must now wait for low gravity and wall-run across 5 stretched hexagonal runes with a wind carving etched into them. Players must run over all five without hitting the ground, but recovering is easy thanks to the anti-gravity jumps.

acquiring the fire bow

For the next part, three urns will be located around Der Eisendrache, and they will be noted for their sparks of lightning. These urns are found at three specific spots:

Players must kill around 5 zombies at these urns to transfer their souls into them. Players will know the step is complete because killing zombies will emit no more souls. With the urns charged up, players need to draw their bow over to the urn to transfer an electric current into an arrow, and then fire said arrow into the same three pyres to turn the burning fire into an electric fire.

acquiring the wolf bow

Return to the weathervane and interact with the blue fog that is now present where players originally picked up the broken arrow.

For the final step, players need to return to the Undercroft where the pyramid is located and hold the interact button at the box that has a tornado/lightning bolt etched into it. Doing so will reward a Max Ammo, and now players must kill 20 zombies within this shrine to transfer their souls. After no more souls can be transferred, interact with the box again with the Wrath of the Ancients bow to claim the upgrading lightning bow.

Each non-charged arrow from the Fire Bow will shoot a projectile from its 75 ammo capacity that leaves a small burst of lava in its wake. Meanwhile, a charged shot can trap zombies in the blast radius within solidified magma, which will then erupt and deal immense damage to enemies within the area. Here’s how to grab it:

Take the Wrath of the Ancients Bow, climb up to the top of the Clock Tower, and shoot the wall marked by the red sigil to explode part of the wall and release a broken arrow.

With the broken arrow equipped, head to the Rocket Launch area and wait for a rocket firing test. As soon as the rocket firing test is complete, exit into the open area and use the Wrath of the Ancients bow to shoot the glowing red rock that is found to the right on the roof of the VMP wall-buy. If done correctly, the rock will explode and shoot off. If this step fails, simply wait for another rocket test which can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 5 minutes.

The next stepmight frustrate players, but stay patient and bring plenty of points. Players must now shoot 3 rings etched into the floor in specific spots, with their Wrath of the Ancients, and this must be done while in midair while using the Wundersphere. Upon successfully shooting one of these rings in midair, the ring will glow in flame.

speaking to the demonic voice

Hitting these in co-op or solo is equally as hard, and each Wundersphere costs 500 points to activate. Players should activate the Wundersphere while standing in their specific aiming spots so that they can charge the bow and shoot it with immediate reflex to activate the ring.

With the rings activated, players can now head to any of them to kill zombies from inside the ring. Players must stand in the ring, but zombies do not need to be in the ring. After around 10 zombies, no more souls can be transferred per ring, and then players can head to the Clock Tower’s top floor to see a symbol within. Once the symbol has been discovered, players must head to a specific fireplace in the map corresponding with their symbol. Each symbol and its fireplace location can be found below:

Call of Duty: Black Ops III Tag Page Cover Art

Once players have found their symbol and their fireplace, they must return to one of the glowing fire rings that is closest to the fireplace. Once inside the ring, a glowing filter will emit on the edges of the player’s screen. Players must chain their charged arrows to reach the fireplace. Shooting a charged arrow from within the ring further away will spawn a volcanic rock, and standing beside said rock will emit the same glowing edges of the screen so players can fire another volcanic rock. Players have a total of four shots, with the fourth and final shot being the one that is fired into the fireplace, or players must return to the ring. If players are successful and chain their shots and then shoot the fireplace, a Max Ammo will spawn and players can hold the interact button on the fireplace.

Doing so will spawn a floating ball of lava by the Death Ray at the top of the castle, where they can interact with it to retrieve a fixed arrow. With the arrow, head to the Undercroft and interact with the box by the Pyramid that has the red ring in the center. Interact with the box with the arrow and then kill 20 zombies beside it. Once done, transfer the Wrath of the Ancients bow into the box to claim the Fire Bow.

How to Get the Wolf Bow in Der Eisendrache

Kreeholo lu Kreemasaleet

The Wolf Bow is extremely powerful with an ammo capacity of 75. The special use of the Wolf Bow is to damage and slow zombies within the blast radius, and charging up the bow might use two arrows, but it causes spectral wolves to leap out of the arrow to damage and slow zombies in its path much like a Thundergun. Here’s how to get it:

With the Wrath of the Ancients bow acquired, players must locate and interact with 4 specific paintings on the map. The paintings are found in random spots in each game, but the order in which they need to be interacted with remains the same, and players can ensure they have done the step correctly by hearing a gentle instrument strum. Messing up the order just means players must interact with all four:

The four paintings can be found in the following locations:

Once all paintings have been interacted with in the right order, a wolf howl will emit, and now a broken arrow can be found down the stairs to the left of the Undercroft. Upon picking up the arrow, teleport to the Rocket Launch area with the Wrath of the Ancients Bow, and head outside to the right of the launch pad to shoot a red flag located above the exit door.

Shooting the red flag causes a wolf skull to appear, which players must pick it up and then return to the side of a box by the Pyramid in the Undercroft, specifically the one with the two wolf heads etched into it. Interact with the skeleton to the right of this box to summon a spectral wolf.

With the spectral wolf now in the game, follow it until it stops and begins digging. Once it’s finished digging, kill 10 zombies in this area to fill the dirt with their souls. After, the dog will dig more in the same spot, and players can interact with the blue glow to make it disappear. This must be done a total of 3 times, so just follow the wolf to its three specific spots in the Courtyard, by Double Tap, and the Undercroft. If things get too hectic, interact with the box again to reset the wolf’s last dig site.

After the last hole has been dug, the wolf will paw at a wall in the Undercroft. Players now need to wait for anti-gravity, activated by standing on the four square panels on the floor on each side of the Pyramid. With anti-gravity active, jump up where the wolf is pawing, and shoot at the wolf head symbols in the open crypt to spawn a platform. With the platform spawned in, stand on it and hold the interact button inside the crypt to spawn in an arrow and then collect it, returning it to the box with the wolf heads on it by the Pyramid.

Kill around 20 zombies beside this box to transfer zombie souls into it, and when no more souls are transferred, interact with it while equipping the Wrath of the Ancients bow to summon forth the wolf bow upgrade.

How to Get the Void Bow in Der Eisendrache

Kreegakaleet lu Gosata’ahm

The Void Bow is an interesting one, as firing a non-charged shot with its 75 arrows causes a small explosion that releases a skull that will bite and eat 2-3 zombies. Even better is the charged shot, which consumes 2 arrows and will unleash a portal where a swarm of skulls will eat zombies, here’s how to get it:

Once the Wrath of the Ancients has been acquired, players will need to venture to the Gate Trap by the Double Tap perk machine room. Look directly up when facing the Gate Trap to see purple painted marks, which need to be shot with the bow. Once shot, players can pick up the broken arrow.

Head through the Courtyard into the center of the Trophy Room beside the Clocktower and look to the center to see a glowing purple tile.

Players must then melee kill one zombie directly over it to release an urn, which will then need to be interacted with. For the melee kill, try to do things on early rounds or with a Bowie Knife.

With the urn now in the player’s inventory, it’s time to interact and collect six Keeper skulls scattered around the map, which will be in the same place for every game:

Return to the Trophy Room and feed the glowing circle in the center with 6 crawler zombies. This is easily done with grenades and other explosive weapons. Once 6 broken souls have been fed to the urn, a demonic voice will speak 3 of six words:

Players need to remember the order of the three words spoken, but if they miss which word was said, simply shoot the floating urn with the Wrath of the Ancients bow, as the demonic voice will repeat the words.

Now players must head into the room connecting the Power Switch Room and Samantha’s Room, where there will be six knight statues. Each of them has a plaque with a corresponding symbol to what the demonic voice spoke of. Players must interact with these statues in order of the spoken words, and each time they do, a purple glyph will briefly appear. Players must remember the order of these specific glyphs for a later step.

Players must now kill zombies, as they will randomly drop one of these glyphs as a power-up. As soon as it spawns, run into it to collect it. Players only need the three glyphs that correspond with their spoken words, but collecting other glyphs doesn’t impact the quest in any way. Once all three symbols have been acquired, head back to the Trophy Room. Inside the summoning circle, players can see the lit-up glyphs they collected. Players must shoot the three correct glyphs in their specified order with the Wrath of the Ancients Bow to cause purple fire to emit from the center, revealing the fixed arrow that must be picked up.

If players mess up the glyph order, the skulls on the summoning circle will spin around and try to eat the player, so just leave the room and retry when they have calmed down.

Run back down to the Undercroft and interact with the box at the pyramid that corresponds with the arrow, noted by the purple etchings with skulls. Kill 20 zombies around this box and then interact with the box to claim the Void Bow.
