How To Unlock The True Ending In Black Myth: Wukong
The first thing that players need to do to get theTrue Endingis to make sure tofind all the secret areasin the aforementioned chapters. The secret area of Chapter 1 requires players to ring three bells that are scattered all over the region. to access the second secret area, players need tocomplete the request of the drunken boar. Chapter 4’s secret area requires players to find and beat the Venom Daoist twice. Chapter 5’s secret is accessible after completing the Five Cart side quest.
Find And Complete The Treasure Hunter’s Quest
The Treasure Huntercan be found inChapter 3, being attacked by Yaoguai outside a building. To find him, playersneed to fast travel totheNorth Shore of the Bitter Lake Keeper’s Shrine. Position the Destined One so that the ocean is on the left and the Keeper’s Shrine is on the right. Hug the coastline until a red gate barges into view. Go through and beat the enemies.
Finally, talk to the Treasure Hunter to start the quest. This NPC will change locations multiple times, and players will have to track him down until they reach Melon Field Keeper’s Shrine, where they willfight the Green-Capped Martialartist.

The third step is tobeat the Stone Monkey and Great Sage’s Broken Shellin Chapter 6. Players have to travel to Mount Huaguo to confront the final bosses and defeat them. Be warned that the two are rather strong enemies,especially the Great Sage’s Broken Shell. Players need to make extensive preparations and make sure that they have the right armor, weapons, and spells equipped. Uponbeating the Great Sage’s Broken Shell, players must return to the New West andfind the Great Pagoda.
Enter The Great Pagoda
Fast travel to theSnow-Vieled Trail Keeper’s Shrine. From there, head right and down the slope till you see a bridge. Run forward and you will find a point of interest. Interact with it to trigger a cutscene, after which you should be inside the Great Pagoda. If you have finished all the steps before, you should see a familiar NPC. Go up the stairs to initiate another cutscene. Subsequently, players will be taken toMount Mei, the final secret area ofBlack Myth: Wukong.
Find Erlang Shen On Mount Mei
On Mount Mei, players will have tofight Erlang Shen, the secret boss. Erlang Shen is a very powerful opponent who is almost unaffected by spells. He has a stance bar, which prevents him from taking too much damage. His attacks are infused with Thunder, causing Shock buildup. Erlang Shen also uses various weapons while fighting, so players need to be wary. He can also summon hounds that can disrupt combos and leave players vulnerable.
Once Erlang Shen is beaten, there will be a cutscene where he will transform into his beast form. He will be accompanied by the Four Heavenly Kings. Under normal circumstances, this fight would be impossible to win. However, the Destined One also transforms into a gigantic Stone Monkey. The fight with the Four Heavenly Kings is simple. Keep hitting them with all sorts of attacks until they are beaten. If your HP is low, use Heavy Attack or Charged Heavy Attack to regain health.
Final Round With Erlang Shen
After dealing with the Four Heavenly Kings, players will have to prepare for another fight with Erlang Shen. Thankfully, it is much easier than the first one. Players should use the same tactics that they used to fight the Heavenly Kings. Attack whenever possible and heal when at low HP. Despite transforming into a Stone Monkey, the Destined One is still quick, so players can dodge incoming attacks. When Erlang Shen has been dealt with, players will get theTri-Point Double-Edged Spearalong with many rare items.
Black Myth: Wukong’s True Ending
The final step toget the True Endingis to go to Mount Huaguo and fight the Stone Monkey and theGreat Sage’s Broken Shell again. When they are beaten, a new cutscene will play, and players will receive theTrue Ending.
