If players somehow manage to access the secret area of Chapter 1 and beat the Elder Jinchi, they will not be able to fight theWandering Wight. Players can find this enemy just beyond theOutside the ForestKeeper’s Shrine.
All Chapter 2 Missables In Black Myth: Wukong
Like the previous chapter,Chapter 2 also has a single missable, and it is also a Spirit. When players face the King of the Flowing Sands and theSecond Rat Prince, it is important tokill the King first. If players take down the Second Prince before dealing with the King, they willmiss out on the former’s spirit.
All Chapter 3 Missables In Black Myth: Wukong
When players are taken to the Pagoda Realm, they will notice big enemies with lanterns for heads. There are nine of them in total, and theymust all be killed beforeplayers face Captain Wise-Voice.If they beat Captain Wise-Voice, they will lock themselves out of getting theAuspicious Lantern, a rare Curio.
The Lantern Wardens only appear when the Destined One enters a daze.
The second missable is theApramāṇa BatSpirit.This is an enemy that is found just beyond the North Shore of the Bitter Lake Keeper’s Shrine. Players need to stick to the right side of the coastline, and they will eventually reach an area with a massive snake skeleton. Walk a few paces to trigger a cutscene. Once it is over, fight the Apramana bat to claim its Spirit. This must be done before beating Yellowbrow.
All Chapter 4 Missables In Black Myth: Wukong
The firstmissablein Chapter 4 istheVenomous Armguard. To obtain this piece of armor, players must break all of Venom Daoist’s extra arms in the first encounter. It is highly recommended to use the weakest weapon, as it will allow players to bust all the arms.
If players fail to break all appendages coming out of Venom Daoist’s back, they will need to retry in New Game+ as there is a trophy linked to it.
The othermissablesare found on Purple Cloud Mountain, which is the secret area of Chapter 4. To access this place, players need to beat the Venom Daoist twice. Upon defeating the Venom Daoist for the second time, players need to interact with the wall behind them to enter the Purple Cloud Mountain.
Daoist Mi Quest
Daoist Mican be found near thePetalfall Hamlet Keeper’s Shrine. Players need to talk to him, after which they need to go looking for the Violet Hail. This item can be acquired by defeating the yellow-robed enemies nearby. Upon securing the item, talk to Daoist Mi. Wait for the cutscene to finish, then beat Daoist Mi to earn theViolet Hail (Spell)transformation.
The Scorpionlord And The Stained Jade Gourd
This boss can be found sitting on the roof of a hut near theBounds of Deity’s Abode. Go up the stairs and break the jars to start the boss fight. This enemy is extremely strong, and players will need to be on their toes to beat him. After defeating him, players will gain theStained Jade Gourd.
Players must not go to face the Duskveilbefore fighting the Scorpionlord; otherwise, they will miss out on the journal entry and the gourd.
The final missable is the Crane Immortal’s journal entry for which players need to complete the Purple Talismans quest.

All Missables In Chapter 5 Of Black Myth: Wukong
The penultimatemissableinBlack Myth: Wukongis related to theHorse Guai’s quest. Players will encounter him in every chapter, except for the final one. Players must make a note of talking to Horse Guai in every chapter before beating the final boss. If they proceed without talking to him, they will be locked out of the quest. After completing Chapter 5, go back to his last location and interact with the cart to complete the quest.
Exhaust all the dialogue of Horse Guai every time you meet him to complete the quest.
Old Man’s Quest
This is the final missable in Black Myth: Wukong. Players have to talk to the bearded old man in every chapter and exhaust the dialogue. If they don’t, they will have to retry in New Game+.
