7Chitin Staff
Rarity: Epic
TheChitin Staffmay only be an Epic weapon, but it can be more useful than some of the rarer armaments inBlack Myth: Wukong. The Chitin Staff does not require players to undertake any complicated side quests. Instead, they just have to upgrade their Staff. Players must be familiar with the process of crafting new weapons as it is nearly impossible to miss.
The Chitin Staff has a respectable Attack of 85, and it increases the chance of landing a Critical Hit by 7%. This combination is extremely useful, especiallyin the early chapters of the game. So, players can equip the Chitin Staff and go about their business.
6Spider Celestial Staff
Rarity: Legendary
TheSpider Celestial Staffis a Legendary weapon that players can manually craft at a Keeper’s Shrine. It is yet another fantastic weapon, but reaching its full potential is a bit difficult.
The Spider Celestial Staff has an Attack of 85 and a Critical Hit Chance of 12%. The weapon has a unique effect, allowing players to recover some health whenever they use a Charged Heavy Attack. Moreover, if players have been inflicted by Poison, their attacks will cause the enemy tocatch the same status ailment. Overall, the unique condition is good, but it requires players to be poisoned, making it unsustainable in fights.
5Bishui Beast Staff
TheBishui Beast Staffwill only be accessible to players once theyreach the Flaming Mountains, the premise of Chapter 5. This particular weapon requires players to access the secret area and beat the Bishui Beast, a formidable foe.
Upon vanquishing the behemoth, players can craft the Bishui Beast Staff. This weapon has an impressive Attack of 105, and it enhances Critical Hit chance by 10%, which is higher than most weapons in the game. Unfortunately, the Bishui Beast Staff does not have a unique ability, which limits its use. But players can still use it if they cannot find a better weapon.
4Visionary Centipede Staff
TheVisionary Centipede Staffcan be crafted after progressing through the story and unlocking it as an upgrade to the Chitin Staff. So, players should visit the Keeper’s Shrine and look under the Craft Weapons option to see if they meet all the requirements for crafting the Visionary Centipede Staff.
The weapon has an impressive Attack of 90, and it increases the chance of a Critical Hit by 10%. Furthermore, hitting an enemy with a Charged Heavy Attack will recover some health. If the enemy is poisoned, the recovery will be increased significantly.
3Golden Loong Staff
Rarity: Mythical
TheGolden Loong Staffis another weapon that players can obtain after they delve into one of the secret bosses in the game. To get this weapon, playersmust beat the Yellow Loong, who is the fourth and final Loong boss in the game.
After a grueling fight in Chapter 4, the Yellow Loong will drop the Golden Loong Staff. This weapon has an Attack of 108 and its unique effect compliments the Pillar Stance. Whenever players use up multiple Focus Points in Pillar Stance, a Loong will appear to inflict Thunder damage. This can be very effective for causing an enemy to be afflicted with Shock.
2Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear
TheTri-Point Double-Edged Spearis a Mythical weapon that players can only obtain by defeating Erlang Shen and the four Heavenly Kings. In order to trigger the fight, players will need to complete the secret areas of Chapters 1, 2, 4 and 5. On top of that, they have to complete the Treasure Hunter’s side quest.
After going through all that and beating the enemies, players will be able to get the weapon. The Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear has an Attack of 135, and it enhances Critical Hit chance by 6%. Additionally, the weapon allows players to shoot swords at enemies upon successfully executing a Forceful Thrust. Moreover, this weapon increases the damage dealt by Thrust type moves.
The Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear has been included as it can be obtained without starting New Game+.
1Jingubang
Sun Wukong’s very ownJingubang Staffis unobtainable until the final chapter of the game. This means players will have to traverse all the perilous terrains ofBlack Myth: Wukong. to obtain this weapon, players will need to take down four different bosses in Chapter 6.
These include: Gold Armored Rhino, Cloudtreading Deer, Feng-Tail General, and Emerald-Armed Mantis.Jingubang has an Attack of 135, and raises the Critical Hit Chance by 6%. When equipped with the Sun Wukong’s Armor, any critical hit will reduce the cooldown of spells. Additionally, the gauge of the fourth Focus Point does not deplete over time.
