Summary
TCG Card Shop Simulatoris all about making money. Earning money allows players to expand their stores, grow their stock, and hire staff. It’s a fun game that gives players the power to control everything. With this power, comes risk. If the player overprices their stock or doesn’t keep things flowing smoothly, they could find themselves rapidly running out of money.
Thankfully, there are plenty of things that players can do tooptimize their storeand keep the money coming in. From filling the shelves to selling off any unwanted cards, there are plenty of ways to earn money inTCG Card Shop Simulator.
1Keep The Shelves Stocked
No Stock Means No Money
While obvious, it’s easy to end up with bare shelves. During the early stages of the game, the player must keep everything running single-handedly, as they will have no members of staff to help them out. Between keeping the shelves filled, cleaning smelly customers, ordering stock, and manning the register, it can be all too easy to end up with empty shelves.
Always try to order extra stock.By keeping extra stock on hand, players can quickly keep things topped up and are less likely to have empty shelves. Also, it’s worth taking a look at the shelves every in-game hour or so, just to make sure that nothing is running too low. Something else that’s worth noting is that the top shelf can also be filled. There are lots of players out there who don’t know that items can be placed on the top shelf.Utilize all possible shelving space to make more money.
2Sell A Variety Of Items
More Variety For Customers
During the first few days, players won’t have a lot of options in terms of items they can stock. But as soon as the player starts unlocking the ability to buy licenses for new products, they should invest some money in bringing some variety into their store. That said, not everything sells well. Try buying small in the early stages. Also, avoid things like figurines until the late stages of the game as they cost a lot of money, and they don’t always sell particularly quickly.
Cards are the best investment. Not only can players sell packs and boxes of cards to customers, but since they can open up packs and sell individual cards, two sources of income can come from buying the licenses to sell various types of packs.
3Price Things Reasonably
Keep An Eye On Fluctuating Prices
Prices will go up and down on an almost daily basis. With the prices constantly changing, it’s easy to end up accidentally overcharging customers. Try checking the market price each day before opening the store to ensure that all of the products are being sold at a reasonable price.
If a customer thinks that the prices are too high, they are likely to comment on it. Keep an eye out for customers saying negative things about prices, as this is a clear indicator that things are priced too high.A good rule of thumb is to price things in line with the market value plus an extra 10%.However, try to round that number to a more even digit during the early stages of the game.
4Price Things To Round Numbers When Possible
A Must During The Early Stage Of The Game
Since players will be responsible for doing all the jobs themselves during the early stages of the game, they’ll need to work fast and efficiently to get everything done promptly. Working the register can be a rather time-consuming task. Since there are lots of customers to tend to,rounding prices to the nearest round number makes giving out change much easier. This applies to most of the shop simulator games.
That said, it’s not always possible to round items to the nearest dollar. For the times when it’s not possible to round things to the nearest whole dollar, try pricing them to the nearest 10 cents. For example, instead of charging $3.74 for something, charge $3.80 or $3.70. This will make working the register much easier.
5Let Customers Play
Buy Plenty Of Play Tables
Play tables are a great way of making some passive income. Play tables are relatively cheap, they don’t need stocking with anything, and they can be left out in the store for customers to use. Customers will come by to play. Each in-game hour that they play costs them a few dollars. The cost can be changed by the player. There are also various tournaments that the player can set up for customers to participate in.
Some of the tournaments will cost the player some money, but aside from that, these tables require no upkeep. They will just generate money while customers play. Something worth noting about these tables is that customers may end up staying past the shop’s closing time. Should this happen, then it’s worth waiting for the customers to finish their game, as they often end up buying a few items before leaving. That said, if just one player is sitting at a table after the store has closed, then it’s just a visual bug and it won’t generate any money. Just start the next day to fix it.
6Get The Most Out Of The Workbench
Sell Any Unwanted Cards
The workbench, while relatively costly, is a worthwhile investment. As the player starts opening packs and building a collection, they will accumulate a plethora of low-value duplicates. Instead of taking up valuable space inside a card table, players can use a workbenchto bundle up their low-value cards and then sell them in-store.This is a great way of turning a profit from bad packs.
If priced reasonably, card bundles tend to sell very well. Since most players will open up multiple packs each day, they will always have plenty of cards that they can throw into a bundle to sell.
