TheCombat Knifeshould only really be used as a reserve for when primary and secondary ammo is depleted, and all that’s left is a sharp knife to endure the battle and keep Tyranid blood spilling till the end. The Combat Knife isn’t terrible, but it’s not the most effective, so players shouldn’t run into a fight with one and expect to carve death into each combatant.
It’s an effective backup, and that’s okay. Players will only really need to use this when a lesser enemy has squared up, and it’s not worth wasting a bullet on them. The speed is great and efficient, but it’s morefor one-on-one battles.

If players want to get even closer to the Tyranid hordes, then they might want to think about using thePower Fist, as this basically means players are going to punch their way through with gracious violence and brutality thanks to their harsh knuckles and Wave Damage potential found from within the Power Fist.

It does just about everything players could want from a backup melee weapon since it has effective damage potential, a decent speed for swings, and nice cleaving potential that will eliminate foes with light and heavy attacks alike.
The Chainsword is a varied melee weapon that deserves to see some blood rust its blade due to its average stats that allow for safe playstyles to embrace melee combat, but not fully, as it’s still not going to be the most essential melee weapon todrive back the forces of hereticsand Tyranids from the galaxy.
TheThunder Hammeris intense in terms of power, and playerswill need a strong armto swing it around. The cleaving potential for the Thunder Hammer is great, as it sweeps through hordes with ease, allowing devastation to be unleashed when surrounded to ensure that every foe gets equalattention of death by Ultramarine.
The Thunder Hammer is especially fun when paired with theJump Pack, as being able to swing down this massive hammer grants further powerful potential. The only real drawback is the fact that the Thunder Hammer feels so slow to swing, which might make players more vulnerable in intensive fights.

ThePower Swordfeels like a true champion with its cleave potential reaching stellar areas of effect to rinse out the hordes. The Power Sword also has two modes to choose from, one that focuses on speed through light attacks and finesse, and the other that focuses on pure power for slower swings and harsher hits upon enemy hordes toaid battle brothers.
The Power Sword is great for cleaving through enemies, and taking on bosses and other harsh foes in one-on-one battles. The Power Sword is the most versatile weapon and its range of combos allows players to utilize it for victory for the Imperium with grand success.
