The JAK Lance is an Aftermarket Part for the MX Guardian, one of the many carry-over weapons forModern Warfare 3. This nifty attachment converts this fully-automatic Shotgun into more of along-ranged weapon,reducing its magazine sizeto three rounds and changing the weapon’s ammunition into a bolt projectile. While this Aftermarket Part is far from one ofthe best weapons inModern Warfare 3andWarzone,it can be a decent consideration with the best loadout.
How To Unlock The JAK Lance
The JAK Lance can be unlocked bycompleting five Weekly Challenges for Week 2 of Season 6. There are seven unique challenges across Multiplayer,Warzone, and Zombies, giving players the flexibility to unlock the JAK Lance in whichever mode they prefer. In addition to unlocking the JAK Lance, completing the Weekly Challenges for Season 6 will also grant access to the Drawn and Quartered Weapon Camo, provided all weekly rewards are claimed beforehand.
ForWarzone Mobile, the unlock process is a little different. Instead,mobile players must spend their Arsenal Coins in the Arsenal Storeto acquire the JAK Lance Aftermarket Part.
Season 6 forModern Warfare 3andWarzonewill run through till the release of Season 1 forBlack Ops 6, which will move the JAK Lance over tothe Armory Unlock sectionfor those who have not acquired it.
Best JAK Lance Loadout in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone
The JAK Lance for the MX Guardian does limit the attachments that are available quite a bit. With that being the case, the below build will do just fine for both Core Multiplayer andWarzone. The attachments listed below will provide a considerableboost to aim-down-sight speed, along withimproving sprint-to-fire, movement speed, and vertical recoil control. This allows players to quickly draw their sights on the enemy, allowing them to better take out Operators with a single shot in Multiplayer, or with two shots for full-plated opponents inWarzone— perfect forbeating the competition on Rebirth Island.
Best Equipment For Modern Warfare 3
The Equipment package detailed below pairs perfectly with the JAK Lance. Some perks players will gain from this setup includeincreased movement speedandan enhanced Tactical Sprint, theability to resupply ammoto counter the weapon’s low reserve,faster reload speeds, and greaterresistance to Flash and Stun Grenades.
Best Perk Package For Warzone
This next Perk Package retains some advantages from the previous Equipment package, such asfaster reload speedsandan enhanced Tactical Sprint. Additionally, it allows players to fullyreplate their Armor Vests with two Armor Plates, while also offering avisual indicator when they’re spotted by an enemyoutside their line of sight.
Secondary Recommendations
The JAK Lance is an excellent option for players looking to take down opponents in a single shot with speed and precision in Core Multiplayer. However, its small magazine size does limit its versatility quite a bit. With that being the case, players may want to take a weapon from the Handgun category to fall back on in situations where they are unable to reload.TheWSP Stingerstill shines and is one of the best Handguns in the game, though theRenettiand theCOR-45are also decent considerations.
ForWarzone, running a reliable weapon from the Assault Rifle category can keep players covered when they find themselves in long-range gunfights, or quickly swap to when they are unable to pop off a quick reload.TheBP50is currently one of the best Assault Rifles to use, one which can be kitted out for close range with its Aftermarket Part, or built for medium range. Other great options include theMCW, theHolger 556, and theSTG44.
